Great day to cook some food in the AZ sun Jonathan! I was thinking about purchasing one of those Camp Chef Pro pellet grills because they came out with that smoke box but for the price of this Tahoma, this sounds like a better get for me. I already own the Highland and the Bronco, this would complete my set of smokers for me! I'll keep you updated.
Nice video and thanks for sharing! Any issues with the charcoal jamming the hopper? I read a lot of reviews from many folks they had issues with charcoal getting stuck and jams up the hopper. Thanks for any feedback!! I want one of these
I’m leery when you ask a good question and get no response. The video was too nice. I’ll be looking for a homemade video with real pros and cons. Not a Hollywood production
I ordered it from Lowe's assembled and unfortunately it arrived missing the grease pan and a few bolts. I guess they didn't think the grill needed them.
I don't own this smoker...yet but I'd say as an experienced cook with many low and slow cooks under my belt, this smoker isn't designed to just use wood. All of the auto feed charcoal smokers are designed to use charcoal as the primary source of fuel and then chunks or wood chips as a way to get some smoke flavor on your food. Hope this helps!@@henryrangel3764

Excellent video! I saw in a discussion group people were not sure about using charcoal chunks, so no issues? It looks like everything went great.👍
Looks awesome! Can’t wait to get mine set up.
You’re gonna love this one bro!
Amazing cook! I’m looking to do a low and slow brisket on here. Could you make a video on that? Just wanna see what I might be able to accomplish 😄👍🏾
Yeah I’m definitely looking forward to doing some longer cooking tests on it soon. Wether has been wild in my area lately lol

Good job brother !!!!
I am having trouble with the app communicating with the Tahoma. What phone are you using with the Tahoma 900?
Do you add wood in the hopper as well?
Wood chunks
awesome machine. new sub here. was it hard to assemble
If you had to chose, would it be Tahoma or Marshal?
The Marshal is my fav right now. The Tahoma is nice and convenient. Gotta get more cooks on it. Marshal gets the edge.
Nice!!
Would you say this is better or just as good as the chargriller 980? Im looking to get a new smoker and not sure which one id like to go with.
I’m not familiar with the Chargriller 980, but I’d imagine they’re in the same category from the looks.
Where’s the wood though?? You can’t use wood for that wood flavor?
You can do wood chunks. This particular model is made for consumers who are looking for a little more convenience.
Can you sear on this
Yessir goes up to 600 degrees. I got a great sear around 475-500 on my last steak cook.
I ordered it from Lowe's assembled and unfortunately it arrived missing the grease pan and a few bolts. I guess they didn't think the grill needed them.
So just charcoal and no wood?
Charcoal and wood chunks!
Can you throw wood chunks in there? And will it affect the grill any if you do so? Or can you just throw all wood chunks in there instead of charcoal?

Please anywhere the above question
@@henryrangel3764Yes you can throw wood chunks mixed with the charcoal for added flavor. I am not sure why he didn't.
