My husband is Australian and my Father in-law is from Limnos. what can i say, Limnos has my heart. what a home it is to me. i can't wait to get back there and enjoy the best beaches, swim in tholse amazing waters. love Limnkis just as much as i love Uruguay. Where to find the accommodation so to not use the car to much but have some nightlife and restaurant too? I mean Myrina is the biggest place with i think more nightlife and restaurants and bars but many of the best things are in the north east part so 30-40 km away from Myrina…I want to come for windsurfing and have good nightlife just walking outside of my place so which is your recommendation? For windsurfing the best spot is Keros that is far from Myrina

the question is: why should we remember a holiday in Lemnos. Frankly, I don't know... I don't have a reason, a particular characteristic to remember. all rather anonymous and commercial like the relationship between traders and customers. no feature that differentiates it. All common, trivially commercially incorrect. Not to see each other again.

In case you mean if there are any refugees in Lemnos island, the answer is no. Lemnos is not so close to Turkey coast and the surrounding open sea is wild, not permitting the illegal human trafficking. But also the other greek islands would be free of trapped people if the European democracy and solidarity were not almost dead...
