Lipsi, known since ancient times, is a small island located in the Dodecanese. There is one main settlement on Lipsi, which was built around the protected harbours of the island. The island is dry, arid, with few trees and rocky terrain, with low hills and amazing beaches. The naturally beautiful landscape is untouched by mass tourism.

What a beautiful, peaceful island. Nice work as usual, Robert! It was fun learning about Lipsi. My heart did hurt a little when I saw that small cove full of washed-up plastic and trash. I know this is a small island and they might not have the resources to clean every beach, but I hope some Good Samaritan gathers it before it returns to the beautiful Aegean.

The name of the taverna is Manolis Tastes. The chef, Manolis, has won the Gold medal for Mediterranean chefs in 2019 and the taverna has got the Gold Award for this year.
Yes, the best tavern in Lipsi in all respects, including the price. 👍💙

Keep sharing robert and ignore negative comments. I expect they either dont work and so would not be affected by withdrawal of tourism or are lucky enough to have retired there and do not wish to share the islands beauty for a few months of the year. Its not tourism thats causing this but the local authorities on the island that are allowing it so they need to grumble to them.

Hi Robert, I have been enjoying your video holidays of Greece for many years now - that is what they are to me when it is blowing a gale, dark, sunless, cold and wet in my rain washed corner of Wales. I can leave our soggy Atlantic climate and escape to the sunny shores and mountains of Greece thanks to you, anytime I feel the need to get away. I know his may seem a little bit mad, but maybe you could have a look at the goodies on sale in the shops as you pass them. My wife keeps saying stuff like "oh I would have loved a closer look in that window" that jewellery looked interesting, love those earrings.

I'm thinking of going there in August, hopefully it will not be very busy with tourism.
Good video, but the loud music bothers me. It would be more enjoyable if you left the natural sounds or just played very soft music underneath.

Oh dear! To all of you, please stop posting about unknown precious islands. Within a couple of years it will be the new Patmos with flocks of chic tourists in linen with shops providing expensive trinkets and unaffordable restaurants and rooms, Please stop and fight against the anarcnic constructions on, the coastline 😢
The most beautiful places are better kept a secret...
I saw this happen to my island, Chios. We had some beautiful beaches that even some of the locals didn't even know about because they were secluded and hidden from the main roads. You could go there and truly relax and see them in their wild natural way.
Through the internet they were exposed and now you go to those beaches and they have built roads and parking lots and on some days you can't even find a place to sit.... Ridiculous... I wish people would stop exposing the unknown beautiful places.
