I was born in this hospital and had two of my children here. Just recently moved back after living in S. Florida for 30 yrs. Thanks for making this Video . Stay Well and Safe
Don't ever go back to that place by yourself and unarmed. People have been attacked by dogmen and killed before. Don't play with fire, it'll burn you sooner or later....
It's interesting to hear about this. We were in this hospital a few years ago and on the first floor in a room at the end of the hallway we heard something banging around which seemed to be making more noise than what I thought a raccoon would be capable of. My first thought was that it was quite possibly a bear. However, it seems that we may have narrowly escaped a dogman encounter!
In 2010 a group of about ten of us went looking around in this place at night with flashlights. Went all over the whole building and in the courtyard. It was so scary. We had coins or something that sounded like it being thrown around us in the basement. It was also very very dangerous. Would not recommend.
Wonder how much it would cost to purchase and get the proper permits to host ghost tours in there? I'm assuming there would have to be a major renovation.
@@JohnWeigold this is what I do lol. I listen for that evidence. I'm getting ready to make a video on this place but I didn't go inside. I discovered your video. Love it.
I live in maysville! I was there Wednesday but didn’t get in because a bunch of people by the hospital was on the porch looking at me. I can tell you a way to get in
Unbelievably sad that it is in that condition, would love to have some of the multi colored tile to create my own memorial to the place where I was born
Daniel Romeiro extremely easy. There are multiple open doors on the side and back of the building. The easiest way in is at the entrance to the courtyard off of 5th St. That's right where the video starts. Decent shoes or boots are a must. Rusty metal, glass, and mud everywhere.
I was an EMT in the late 70's and 80's. I've been in that hospital many times. Word to the wise. Don't get caught. It's a hefty fine if you are caught. No talking your way out of it. The neighbors watch it and call the police.
John Weigold hey john, I'd like to ask what other places do you know about and if you could give me directions, because I love exploring I just can't find very many places 😕
As far as I know it is. There were talks about demolishing it but they're concerned about the hill behind it sliding if the building is removed. So I believe it's still standing.
I was born here in 1953. My brother died here in 1975.

Hello ma'am
Best tour ever. I was born there. Thank you. 🌹
You’re so lucky to be able to get in there. It’s completely boarded up now…
keep in mind this was in 2017
Not anymore.. well the boards are still there but… they’ve been ripped open 😂

I was born there in January 1971
Why wasn’t this hospital converted to a school or offices or city hall or anything at all? Shame to see it go to waste.
I just slammed the like button for you having the brass to even go in there. Excellent video.

It’s up for sale now $800,000
12:12 sounds like a man speaking. Like a disembodied voice.
Right before I step on that metal. Whoa, I never noticed that before....

Very cool location! I'm not too terribly far away, maybe I'll check it out sometime. How easy or hard was it to access?

This is my hometown. My father was born here. This building is privately owned and accessing it is considered trespassing if you are caught.
