"Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer", a novelty comedy X-mas song in the US of A. It's not very good. It's a silly, hokey song; but I recommend Weird Al's "Christmas at Ground Zero" or the Lonely Islands' "Dick in a Box"

So I guess i'm going to have to be "that guy" that says that Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer is actually a good song. It's funny, it's clever, it's got that good hint of dark comedy to it, the rhymes are good, the delivery of the joke is funny, and the music itself is catchy. I'm kind of sick of everyone pretending to hate it just because everyone else pretends to hate it.The only reason people say it's "bad" is becuase it's just a mindless meme to crap on it, even though it's just as good as all the other examples.
And just to also say, when it comes to Weird Al, "The Night Santa Went Crazy" is way better than "Ground Zero"

I remember seeing bits of it on cartoon network as well as promos for it on one of my looney tunes and scooby doo vhs tapes. And yes, this movie is made by Warner bros.

I hate movies that assume someone’s drunk when they say santa. People dress up and so even if it isn’t “santa” it could be someone dressed up as him, which costumes are quite common for that. John wayne gayce

No I am not. I have a bit of a twisted sense of humor myself so I Loved it. I also admittedly liked the silly song in the actual special since I have seen it about the Fruit Cake. Yeah it's stupid, but I can't help finding it catchy & I am a Sucker for anything catchy. Besides, I like all kinds of horrible crap, & by God I am not ashamed to say it cause I know a lot of what I like is dreadfully bad 🤷♂️

I hate the song with a passion and dread hearing it every year. While I get that people like it, for me it's terrible for an obvious reason about someone's grandmother getting killed.

It is real, but I recommend that you smoke weed to watch it, also glad to see you're back and with the hat. You're not the same without the hat even if it only happened a few times.
i don't think 'grandma got run over by a reindeer' is good, but i'd rather watch that than watch the godawful special 'the christmas tree'.

Yeah, the end of that.... typical Doug Walker overproduced, unfunny, cringeworthy shit. This is one of, but not the only reason that I hope it's starting to become apparent why modern Nostalgic Critic sucks. Prepare for him to do way more of that kind of invasive, unfunny bullshit on a regular basis while he acts like a genius for coming up with it. His crappy songs, his crappy skits, his crappy 'clipless reviews', his crappy overproduced half-assed cringe crap that overtakes his videos and goes on for far too long. Not to mention that nearly all of his reviews are just bad from this point on, the more "experimental" he feels, and his critique skills go down the toilet.
More and more from this point on, Doug Walker starts to believe he's a "genius experimental low-budget filmmaking auteur" rather than just "some guy that makes reviews on the internet" and it starts to get super insufferable.
James Rolfe can pull off big spectacle reviews. But Doug Walker has never had the talent, nor is charismatic nor funny or clever enough himself to pull any of it off. Besides his "Demo Reel" bullshit, this and his "Chimpmunk musical" was one of the first real strong indicators that Doug's pretentious ambition is higher than his talent or ability to pull it off well. And it's only going to get worse from here.
I pity your sanity by the time you get to his two worst reviews ever, "Sailor Moon Review" or "The Wall Review"
