Either enforce the speed limit or don’t. No more leaving it to an officers discretion. If they are doing more than 3mph (or whatever the error is for the speed detection device )over the posted speed limit write a ticket. If 65mph had been deemed safe for 465 it would have that posted speed. It may seem excessive but I’m tired of the discretion that is allotted to police officers. Either enforce the rules uniformly or don’t enforce them at all.
Wait, its even hard for Iaw enforcement to drive the speed limit, worry more about the texting and driving, and the ones driving slow in the fast lane, they are the problem
I wonder how the 465 loop would look if people actually knew how to drive out there? If people knew how to drive speed wouldnt be an issue. In Europe they have the autobahn and drive as fast as they want and their traffic fatality ratio is way lower than ours. It isnt the speed, its the lack of knowledge when it comes to driving. Cops taking money off of people is not going to fix the issue with ignorance when it comes to driving skills. You have people driving 50 in the left lane while texting, and you have people driving 90 in the right lane to get around the person who doesnt know how to drive in the left lane. Again, it isnt speed, its poor driving skills and knowledge. When most 16-20 year olds today cannot name 5 states in the united states it is understandable why they dont know how to drive either.

They need to stay there every day. Especially for cars exiting on Washington street. Multiple people who drive on that side of town needs their cars impounded and license revoked.
