@@Halffastgaming sorry, i found out another way its just at the time i did this i grabbed an scs file mod and dragged it onto the converter like you did but it didnt work so thats why i asked
ive been playing around i have ideas of what i would like to try, my project problems blender opens great, i have triple checked all the files & paths , everything is setup, Why my project is not showing up when imported? blender shows its loading in but nothing shows up ..??
I have a problem with the exterior, I don't want to display the modded exterior at all, I did it but still nothing in 1.49 it worked fine but on 1.50 it doesn't work at all, so at least I'm not yet using blender 3.6.9 and my addons are updated to 1.50 at least the ones that were can you help me with my problem
Thanks for the tutorial. Should base and def folders in my documents be updated to latest game version. All folders inside are dated 11/2023. Steam\steamapps\common\american... folders are pretty up to date?

Have a mod Im working on and am getting a "failed to open "/prefab/depots/witte_bros.meta" in read-only. What is the .meta by chance? It is a company/garage prefab for Missouri, def file is written correctly, plus blender to map edit deletes key materials within the file. Its a 1:1 scale prefab too of an area as well.

Is there any way I could get you to convert a mod from old to new for me? It's a window with a graphic on it, i modded it for Jon Ruddas 3500. It worked with 1.48. Crashes 1.50. I will happily pay you for your time.
I can't get this to work. I use converterpix like normal, and I get a bunch of errors when I import (can't find texture nor TOBJ, can't read TOBJ), but if I add the other "base" files to the "add archives to list" thing (base_vehicle, base_share) then I only get one error: can't read TOBJ, and I can't figure out how to fix it. Such a pain, and I'm the worst with computers, I don't have a clue what I'm doing. And I still don't understand how to do it like you show in the video, like how do I make sure my project base path folder has all the stuff it needs and nothing it doesn't? I'd be grateful for your help. As far as I know, you're the only person on earth putting this info out, showing us how to mod.

The same way you would import a truck. Find it in the list of base using converterpixwrapper. My "How to mod SCS" series has instructions.
where can i get the .exe file for this? when i drag my mod it it opens for like 1 second and dissapears and doesnt do anything
Drag your mod?
This is for unpacking SCS Software SCS files, not mods.

I went ahead with the errors and it exported fine and looks alright in game, so I guess it works alright.
