@@khaioberle4782 bro’s pressed 💀 i have no idea how on earth you alluded to any of the things mentioned on there (for instance, I’m not sure if we read the same comment, but I didn’t notice the part where they stated Jenna was talentless, unfunny, and dumb, but good on you for the great analysis skills. very proud.) Anyways, they were right you know, goths already did some of those dances, many were references to horror films or dances from older dances (which ‘goth’ people are into) so yeah. I wish more people appreciated this kind of zombie robotic freestyle before bc it’s like one of my favourite ways to dance, combining stiff and absolutely loose moves is great and tbh idk how to call it
honestly this is probably my favorite type of dance and ive never seen it before so im so grateful to finally have discovered this type of dance as its now my favorite it’s so fun !
First off: You seem very kind, charismatic, and understanding toward your audience. Secondly: thank you for breaking it down for everyone so thoroughly as a lot of people don't have the capabilities of moving as quickly or understanding the dance tutorials that move at like 800x speed thinking that people will just get it. You actually make it fun. :) Side note: when I see you or Jenna do the "playing the piano" part with your arms it instantly pops the Thriller zombies into my mind and makes me smile.
Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words. This comments totally made my day 🖤 I’m really glad you found the tutorial easy to follow/digest as that was the main aim! Ahhhh I love that. I’d love to create a full scale production of Thriller one day - huge MJ fan!
I have to tell you that out of the tons and tons of people I've seen trying to recreate this dance, you are by far the absolute best! You matched Ortega step for step perfectly! You even captured her vibe, the entire essence of it all. Truly, truly, bravo. I literally shared your video with people, something I never do, I was that impressed. Then to top it all off you broke it all down in such a way that even the most rhythmically challenged could follow along! Seriously, you're just absolutely incredible .
It’s my birthday today and this comment has honestly made me smile so much - thank you. Your kind words really mean the most! I just wanted to do this iconic choreography justice and I’m so glad you enjoyed it 🖤 I hope you have a wonderful day! Sending so much love xo
Just the fact that Jenna paid homage to Wednesday's original dance from the 60s was phenomenal, even if was only on screen for a blip of a second. I'm sure Lisa Loring would be proud.
Thank you so much for your tutorial. With this dance being deconstructed like that, I've realized how relaxing it is. Especially the movements at the beginning - they look straight from some relax-your-body-before-public-speaking preparation, some actors do smth like that before going to the stage as it helps to let go of any tension in the muscles. From now on, I'll prefer to think that Wednesday was overcoming social anxiety in her "zero fs given" way: she felt anxious about dancing, she couldn't change the fact that she was feeling it, so she picked a way not to simply battle the anxiety but to completely smash it on the dancefloor)
Jade is soo talented I was doing the turtorial with her all slow then the full dance started and i was like, this person knows how to dance. I'm so glad Jenna started this so Jade could teach it to us!!
This is by far the closest I've seen anyone get to the exact dance. Excellent job breaking it down, it's really hard to get tv/movie dances right since you don't have the magic of camera cuts or angles irl
I'm still struggling with the Wednesday shuffle part but nonetheless, every part of the dance is peculiar yet enticing at the same time and I proudly say you nailed it 🙃
I FREAKED when Wednesday started dancing to Goo Goo Muck & I started dancing along with her. My 13yr old was like, mom, chill, it's not a Goth club. Also, I'd like to say that I'm so happy they're actually calling her Goth. We don't hear enough of that on-screen, we usually just get labelled freaks, weirdos, psychos etc...
Im so glad she used the Cramps Goo Goo Muck that was in Wednesday and not the Lady Gaga song others are using. The dance and the song are perfect together.
@@sj6546 Well, I mean Bloody Mary works just as well for dancing. But I certainly prefer The Cramps with this dance for sure. Fun fact, GaGa loves The Cramps, so it all works out. lol.

Thank you so much! Absolutely agree, it’s a iconic choreography Jenna is so multi-talented!! I just couldn’t wait to learn it 🖤 Glad you enjoyed the tutorial xo
The head drop reminds me of the historic dance that came about after the death by guillotine of the French aristocracy. As a tribute to the dead, people tied a thin red ribbon around their neck and dropped their head suddenly as though it had been cut off. Very cool.
@7:34 glad you mentioned where it came from. I was so happy she added that particular dance (I'm sure that was for the original show fans), too bad you can't barely see it. I wish it was a little big longer (maybe 2 or 3 more seconds). but the whole dance sequence was perfect!!!
