Can you imagine our landfills after these storms 😢 I think it’s time to change coastal areas & put a stop for folks to rebuild. It’s an absolute nightmare for our ocean , lakes, streams, rivers … storms are getting bigger & faster … makes me sad 😢
The government should buy back the coastal flood prone lands and turn them into perserves. Rebuilding seems useless for some of these areas and wasteful too.
@@ryanfraser167 If they can find another sucker to buy. When you buy property close to the ocean you have to expect damage in the future. Otherwise buy where you won't have as high of a risk.
@@DimplesGenX these hurricanes and damage are nothing new, anyone who does the most minimal research knows that, but yet the demand for Florida real estate remains excessively strong, don't see that changing. Even it did slow down, probably wouldn't be a bad thing for Florida, in some parts the real estate is too heated and over population is too much.
@@ryanfraser167 Fairly new to Pasco, I live here. Those that live here know not to buy anything on the other side of Rt. 19 - mandatory A evacuations all the time. The infrastructure hasn't caught up with drainage in Florida - it is a buyer be aware situation but those moving here don't realize how much little help there is for these types of situations. If you have the money you can buy anything and rebuild over and over.
What people really need to do is stop allowing Canopy roads in Tallahassee. They should be outlawed or their should be a law that mandates those people are the last to get their power turned on.
It's time for Ron DeSantis to educate Floridians including real estate moguls and developers that the state cannot sustain the growing population of the past 30-40 years. Everyone knows what's going on -- creed, avarice, sun-worshipping to the worst degree, and poverty. Those areas most affected by these climate catastrophes are areas with large elderly populations and the poor. People w/few if any residual resources. Telling people "to get out" at the 11th hour is not solving anything.
Sending prayers ❤❤❤❤❤❤

What the people really need to do is sell their home and get the hell out of the area permanently

Jesus Christ said we would always have the poor, don't judge on the outward appearance. You have no heart.
Why? Florida and its population are addicted to taxpayer bailouts
Ok
