Ye calculation bilkul wrong hai. Aap 4 bilkul different cars ko use kr rahe hai 3xo is a segment above car in power, space, and dimensions (leave length ). Ye experiment tb thik hota agar ye Nexon pr kiya jaata. Kyoki vo petrol, diesel, cng and ev sb me available hai. Same car different fuel type. 10 lakh ke under to petrol ki bohot cars hai to or cars bhot mileage deti hai like suzuki car
A middle-class family does not sell their car in 4-5 years, rather keep it for its lifetime or till its usable(many times renew the permit for additional 5yrs). So a fare comparison would have been to compare all vehicles for at least 15 years of ownership.
Bro, average car ownership in India is 4 years. Source: www.livemint.com/news/india/car-owners-are-now-selling-off-their-vehicles-earlier-than-usual-report-11663849611009.html So 15 years would have been way off
You could have factor in the variance in running fuel wise for example a diesel owner will have more running annually then a petrol so instead of 12k km/yr for all you could have considered different for each segment… just a small suggestion
I think depreciation estimate on EV car is really not correct. There have been technological advancements, batteries are more affordable today. If Nexon was selling at 18 Lacs in 2021, then equivalent brand new Nexon today is selling at just 15 Lacs in 2024. This also impacts the resale value by huge chunk. Punch EV wont be facing such impact on resale in coming 4-5 years. So total running cost would come out to be way lesser than what is adjudged in the video!
Nice! Can you make a similar video in the 10-20 lac category? Considering the factors that you described, I chose the 5th gen Honda City ZX MT in 15.5 on-road. Then 15 days later, Windsor was launched and I still think if I made the right call though I love Honda, it's refinement, cabin and ivtec is like 90% turbo (106 in 2nd gear!) with good efficiency.
Waah kya comparison hai sir price and running cost ka dear creator we are talking about the mileage of a diesel which produce around 115 bhp and a car which produce only 67 odd bhp in cng do you remember once swift and polo 1.2 diesel which used to produce exceptional power and torque for the car and still mileage hota tha 23-25 jab engine bs6 jitne efficient bhi nahi hote thay
Fun video to watch but it was sort of impractical in my sense atleast. I would have liked if you would have compared cars like nexon as it has all 4 fuel types. These cars you compared were made by diff companies and for different people. 1 car with all fuel options would have been a better way to compare.
