- ‘Extra’s’ Rachel Lindsay talks with Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Al Pacino, Salma Hayek and Jared Leto about their highly anticipated movie “House of Gucci,” in which Gaga plays convicted killer Patrizia Reggiani. Along with opening up on the psychological effects of the role, Gaga showed major appreciation for her co-stars. Salma also raved about Gaga’s acting, calling her “so smart.”
I love how Al Pacino takes his glasses off when interviewer talks to him, such an etiquette lesson.

Rachel facilitated the interview nicely. Wasn't surprised by each actors presence. Adam clearly is looking uncomfortable and this isn't the best part of the show biz world that he cares about much. They look great and expressed respect for the team effort on this set. I can't wait to see the movie.

They're extremely compassionate towards Patrizia. She was a killer, of course she was.
None of them said she wasn't a killer. What was said was that 1. that isn't all that she was, and 2. there were several things that contributed to her becoming a killer. That is compassion, yes, but it is also keen observation of an individual's life, and knowledge of human dynamics, as well as understanding what love, and betrayal of that love might do to the human psyche and spirit. Saying..."She was a killer, of course she was." is overly simplistic, and no profiler (for instance) would ever take such a narrow view of someone who kills.
@@patricelockertanthony7630to me this sounds like "justifying" what she did, as if any woman could kill her husband if he leaves her. But you're right. She's not just a killer. She's also many other things she should be ashamed of, but she's not.

I love to hear Adam Driver in interviews. He is so engaging and goes so deep. And, Gaga is just amazing. What a huge presence and incredible performer in all mediums.

Adam just looks like he doesn’t want to be there, but then again that’s just Adam. He doesn’t like this side of the job, which actually makes me like him. I did also notice tho that there’s an awkward vibe where it just feels like the guys don’t exactly warm up to Gaga. I also found it unsavory of Letto to kiss Pacino’s ass for that long to the detriment of the others. We all already know that he’s the goat but com’on stop kissing his boots. That’s probably part of the reason why Salma made a point out of being so kind and recognizing to Gaga, to kind of make up for the guys’ dryness towards her. I don’t feel sorry for Gaga at all tho, cause she is being made as the big star and will most probably get the Oscar, which could indeed make a few of the established actors resent her “a little”.

So is it going to be a toss up between “H of Gucci” and “Passing” at the Oscars? I just saw the latter and it blew my mind. Masterpiece of conflict, not glitzy cast like “Gucci” but deep, deep, deep - and a covert thriller, too.
I’m praying that everyone was partying the night before this because there’s no excitement except for Gaga and salma which is not enough to convince us that the movie was good. Kinda expecting a big flop that I’m gonna watch anyway cause I love Gaga and salma but the guys didn’t get the memo about promoting a movie they are clearly not proud of it.
