At the end of the day we all knew she was promoting her brand. As a fashion designer especially when you make wedding clothes and dress celebrities, it makes sense she used this opportunity to grow her business.

Went to court. Came to daddy house where pastor blessed us. Did traditional wedding with a budget of 250 guest. Today is my 15th wedding anniversary. God blessed my marriage. I am introvert and hate stress.

What I am learning lately is "to each his/her own" Just know yourself, acknowledge your desires, and do it with your full chest.
Additionally, it is "wisdom" to do your wedding according to your preference and bank account.
The basics remain consistent: the parents' consent according to their customs - traditional ceremony; the government attests - court/legal ceremony; blessings by God through his vessel - church ceremony.
However this plays out, your discretion!
You did justice to this discussion. I really don't see reasons why people are angry or complaining. I Was still telling someone that her wedding was a good avenue for her to promote her brand.
Even people with minute social media presence post their events and weddings talk more of a Fashion ICON!

People saying when will the wedding end doesn’t mean when will the marriage end. It’s two different things. Doesn’t mean bad necessarily. The wedding went on for 2 weeks everyday activity. E reach make people ask when it will end. That doesn’t mean they ain’t happy for her.

Maraji we both had the same type of wedding and I don’t feel like I missed out nor want another wedding. Growing up I also never thought about what my wedding and dress would look like despite always being a fashion enthusiast.
