Ausangate Summit 2024 Drone 4k

A video of opening the route for the season on Nevado Ausangate (6,384m) on May 11th, 2024.
Ausangate is the 5th highest mountain in Peru and the highest in the Cusco region of South Eastern Peru. The climb is an "AD" on the alpine scale, the technical crux of the climb is an ice/snow wall of 150 meters. Ausangate is a great next step for climbers who have climbed Chimborazo or other high Andean peaks and are looking for a bit more technical challenge.
