hard bark on the family tree
the machinist
Have Hearts last concert.
You can pick up a copy @ bridge9 store.
I do not own the rights for this dvd, I've just uploaded this great work.
"Live, love, and learn. You are not a slave to your addictions. You are not a slave to depression.” - Patrick Flynn
Someone in the crowd is a swifty now
When does he say this?
It’s been 13 years since this came out, and Pat is still catching his breath.
Damn I wish hardcore was still about this. The importance being placed on the lyrical content and unity, not having the biggest breakdowns or acting like a tough guy and trying to injure people or any of that shit.
we're doing everything we can.
Crafter- Embrace
It’ll be back. I remember not long before this era the tough guy breakdown stuff was in too. It’s all full circle
I wouldn’t use a have heart video as a way to hate on current hardcore bands, that’s pretty counterproductive imo
@@marry11109 have heart, easily the most overrated hardcore band of the 2000s
mirraco323
Lions and lambs.
Happens to all of us, everytime we're watching this..
Got this on DVD, and everytime I'm kinda down, I'm watching it. Always builds me up man, always.
👍👊
I put on this video to hear and watch the intro , always makes me feel something
When the crowd screamed "October Leaves", I legit came buckets.
Yes to this still to this day
Gotta be my fav hardcore band of all time. I've watched this show at least 50 times over the years and I still get chills
Think I’m on view 80+. This last show was ridiculous.
check ruiner and defeater
@@vileasskyle both great bands
This is the band that single handedly changed my life in a very radical way. Pat Flynn is a wise, honest and talented individual that has the ability to show the outside world what true music and shows is all about in a way which comes across as totally genuine and from the heart. Long live Have Heart and the straight edge ethics that fuelled this great band.
SEE YOU ALL IN LA!
Dale Decker SOUND & FURY IN FULL EFFECT!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Slammin ❤
One of the only hardcore bands that could bring me to tears
The intro was Roland by Interpol.
Badass.
I was looking for this comment
This brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it.
U remember making this comment?
@@michaelspoto8720do you?
@@rust3871 no bro but thank u for bringing me back to this from 3 years ago. A lot has changed in 3 years bro. Hope you're doing well
2021 anyone? I was only in second grade when this came out and now i absolutely fucking love them a decade later
Check out the 2019 10 year reunion show they did at the belasco in la. Craziest show I’ve ever been to in my life. Epic.

See you guys in Boston and tied down this year 🙏🏾👏🏾
WE BACK FOR FOUR SHOWS BABY
John Buehler
I’m getting stupid rowdy at their show in l.a.
@@newthrash1221 I'm going to be at both LA shows. Will be legendary
John Buehler
Lucky as fuck dude. Really wanted to catch rotting out too, but oh well. See you friday man, let’s get rowdy!
Never fails to give me chills.
Have Heart, shows his emotions and energy, without a doubt the best band, much respect.
We are so fucking lucky we grew up on this. This music made us brothers.
Man, it sucks i'll never see these guys live, their music saved my life.
they touring 5 dates this summer!! pats in another band fiddlehead now and they rip too
Lost my mom 2016, self inflicted gunshot wound to the chest, hxc has never left my side through this journey of pain. HH till the end.
Thanks guys, for living the music.
these videos of the last show always make me sad and happy at the same time. the also make me hopeful that we can build up this scene into a higher level without all the negativity. just look at that crowd, everyone who was there was there for the moments and nothing else. i think thats really what matters.
So awesome that they were playing Interpol.
gave the chills
pat is a awesome speaker
Never saw have heart but got to see fiddlehead. Dude did not disappoint. I swear the interludes between songs of him talking at the show are just as important as the songs
Saw HH 4-5 times during their run. I don't go to shows like that anymore, but damn, they were excellent.
Have Heart changed my life, they made me a better person.
Just came across these guys wow. Love that old snapcase type approach to hardcore. And the turnstile energy
BEST INTRO FOREVER
It sort of sounds like Roland by Interpol at the beginning
it is
awesome how a hardcore band covers an indie rock band
SPARTAAA12
It really is, just another reason why Have Heart were so great
I always thought it was shadowplay- joy division
Have Heart will always be in my heart.
I was here. Best show I've ever been to.
gash everytime a song starts i just get the chills :3
10 years later and still listening
watching this gives me chills
I've heard so many great things about these guys. But for years I over looked them. Sad that I did, because I missed out on a lot...
DUDE, this crowd is like a HUUUGE mass of it's own xD It's crazy !
I would've loved to have been at this show. Damn.
I'm from England and i can confidently admit this video sums up how UK Hardcore will never be as great as American HC. We lack the Genuine emotion these shows hold.
best show i've ever been too. took over 6000 km to get there!
John Geist! I'm watching this cuz of you!
I just realized that the opening "ambiance" to their set is a cover of the song Roland by Interpol.
I caught it on first listen. Was looking to see if anyone else noticed
thank u for uploading this.. finally.
this band means a lot.
thank you , see you soon
beautiful
thanks for uploading this, hope to see more!
gettin chills when the vid starts ;)
best band ever
we should never forget about them ;p
Have Heart should be like one of those 80's hairbands that does a never ending reunion tour
chills.
no doubt in my mind, Have Heart will go on to be one of the legendary bands in Hardcore history.
You've never heard many hardcore bands then.
@@sonnyday6727 can’t tell the story of straight edge hardcore without em. Not sure why you’re watching them play live but being a hater in the comments.
@@Brentqvaleenjoyer Can't tell the story of straightedge hardcore without em huh? Good Lord almighty! Tell me you're a dumbass gen z that barely got into hardcore and knows nothing about the history of it without telling me. Amazing! This is the fan base of Have Fart, wack ass newjack clown ass gen z ass posers like you. Wackest hyped ass poser band of all time
Chills chills chills all over!!!
Thank you! HAVE HEART! :-*
best show ever! so happy to be apart of it, anyone else remember how fucking hot it was inside and how fucking cold/rainy and how long of a damn wait it was to get inside! SO FUCKING WORTH IT
To know I will never be able to experience this makes me incredibly sad.
It makes me so sad that I'm just discovering this band, and they don't play anymore. :(
i hope you got to see one of the reunion shows
This is how show is suppose to be. no stage with a bunch of people having a good time with an amazing band who has a positive message
The intro to Hard Bark on the Family Tree sounds like Roland by Interpol
It is
holy shit this is beautiful
I couldn't have described my feelings better.
ladies and gentleman, this is a real hardcore show.
This is what Hardcore is all about. LIVE THIS
Roland Goes so fucking hard.... This is the best version ever. without words??? and a warm up??
HAVE HEART 2019 BABY
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck thanks for putting this up!!
Hey, my best friend's a butcher, he has sixteen knives. He carries them all over the town at least he tries, oh look it stopped snowing
have heart the best bands i ever hear in life :,)
Oh man, that looks like a fun ass show!!
Holy. Shit. The crowd is seriously big enough to make a small country.
thanks, glad you like it.
truely crying at the beginning
Happy SXE day to you all.
@HoracioGo15 the only bands out of those that are straight edge is The Effort...also check out: ON, Get the Most, Face Reality, Harm's Way, and Foundation.
The speech before machinist just hit me hard....
They need to come back. ONE LAST TOUR. please..........
the very begging sounded exactly like interpol..
like the exact same tabs for the intro on one of their tracks, forgot which one though
This band is legendary.
The introooo, interpollll?
I miss this band
this is still the coolest thing of all time
everytime i listen to Have Heart it makes me sick that i will never get a chance to see them :(
damn i was eight years old when they played this. i found out about them too late dammit
best but sadest have heart show.
they influenced so much todays hardcore like no other band.
I agree, these guys and close your eyes.
the hair at the back of my neck is fucking standing fuck i cant describe this feeling that im having
thats one of the best crowds ive seen in a very long time...the scene around here is so dead, and people at shows are too hip to show any emotion.
the realest of the realest
this is my top most favorite band
this is sick but the amount of camera switches hurts my head
a melhor banda de hardcore , RIP Have Heart - Brasil
Because a lot of bands break up on 10.17 or edge day. It started with ten yard fight.
Whose here in 2020?!!!!
Some things just fall apart
i know. Im saying the band had confusion because patrick had to tell the guitarist "hard bark" then they started the song.
I think they had confusion on what song was first. But have heart is awesome i wish they still played.
I would give a limb to be at that last show. It wouldn't matter, because I'd leave with zero. Mosh til death. There will NEVER be a greater hardcore band.
@psych0p4t3 "the things we carry" lie the book?
Wow.
2022?
Wonder what they're all up to now
era buenisima esta banda.
@Obzidian09
That's exactly what straight edge is about. We CHOOSE to live a life style that is free of poison. In my case, if you wanna do drugs or smoke or drink, i don't care. If you choose to ruin your body from addictions, that is your choice.
This is definitely one of the best hardcore band ever, I'm fucking glad I saw them before they split up ! Much respect !
