I want to go here to Monument Valley sometime. Back to the Future III opening scene when he travels back to 1885 was filmed there and it looks so breathtaking.
Tyson I had to watch this one a couple of times. Just incredible sights, and that hotel room view, wow! Appreciate you putting the time into these bud!
You know, over the years I’ve always enjoyed watching your videos, but this one was, without question, my favorite (my wife’s favorite as well!). The scenery was absolutely magnificent, and the view from your hotel room was like something from a movie (if you had told me you just stayed at a Motel 6 and dropped the scenery into the background in post-production, I’d have believed you). As we watched your video, my wife and I tried to decide which roads the Accord could tackle, and which ones would require the Jeep. Definitely have to get out there sometime!
This is amazing !! Scenery and terrain is magical. Your videos usually make me want to hit the road , and also make me hungry lol. The SLX is looking great 👍
I love the content on the Acura SLX. I'm looking into buying a SLX as a weekend cruiser/project. Would you recommend getting one off of local classifieds?
Quick question. Have you ever thought of possibly doing a J series swap on the slx? More power/torque, less noise, and I’m assuming cheaper to maintain than an Isuzu with almost no market support in the US(to my knowledge at least).
It sounds like a good idea. But my question is, will it work? Honda's J series engines are transverse mounted, and were originally designed for front wheel drive vehicles. If it works, will there be a need to change the transmission? I hear that these Isuzus used a GM automatic transmission, and those weren't good.
That’s cool as hell, I’m considering buying one since there’s one for sale nearby but I can’t find anything aftermarket for it. Will Isuzu trooper parts fit on the SLX
Thank you for the video👍🙂🇺🇦
Thank you for watching!
I love your slx. It’s a perfect member of your fleet!
Agreed, thanks Wes

Stunning scenery in the USA!! Monument Valley is now on my bucket list.
Definitely, come on out!
Beautiful country, thanks for sharing! I’d love to something similar with my K3500 one day.
Absolutely, your pickup would be right at home there!
This is cool! I'll have to bring my kiddos there like my parents did back in the day.
Definitely a cool spot!
Tyson is having the time of his life.
Haha exactly!

Of course! I know, I can’t get enough of Monument Valley either
Best part is turning off the engine and enjoying the beautiful scenery and experiencing mindfulness in the silence!
Couldn't agree more!

Thanks Charles!
sounds like she needs a valve adjustment! Love the SLX so cool. Also I noticed the oil gauge wasn't working. (hopefully) 😬
Yes! That oil pressure gauge is broken, haha.
Lol you got the dog to pose for the camera.
Haha yep

They are overall solid vehicles! I'm not sure where you will find one. I have had mine for 5 years and 5,000 reliable miles.
I have a 1996 sitting in my driveway. .Great and unique SUVs..

I don't plan on investing any effort into that, but Acura did an engine swap in one a few years ago for RADwood with a 2-liter turbo.
Is this the SLX stock 😳
Yes completely
That’s cool as hell, I’m considering buying one since there’s one for sale nearby but I can’t find anything aftermarket for it. Will Isuzu trooper parts fit on the SLX
How reliable would you say these things are
I've only put about 6,000 miles on mine in 4 years but it's been great.
Hi Tyson do you know if the transmission is the same as the Isuzu trooper
It is
