While contemplating the objects of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises.
From anger, complete delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool.

Knowledge comes from incentives. Law is an incentive. One law is to not pollute. In a lawful society, class action suits and public image become important for profit. Then the businessman must become more holistic in his attitude toward society. Otherwise, someone else will profit by being socially consciousness, thus forcing the smaller minded to loose profit unless he changes his ways. Thus,consciousness increases in a lawful society i.e. one where unrestricted profit and individual sovereignty is universal. In such a society government doesn't socialize costs while creating huge profits for the corporations as recently happened with British Petroleum and the banks.
The Vedic way of increasing consciousness works better in a society of pure private property rights. Private property is what defines law. Socialism is lawless. Super Radiance--Tat Sannidau Vaira Tyagaha is difficult to form if society confuses government power with law. In that case, the Yogis who can create invincibility for the nation, will expect law to come from the authority of government which had already confused them into thinking that government power is law. Thus, these people look outside their consciousness to create justice.

Socialism means instead of private property there is social property. Individual sovereignty goes against socialism. It is also means egotism, which according to Sri Krishna, creates hate and ultimately those people hate Krishna.
Unrestricted profit means greed, which according to Sri Krishna is one of the gates of hell.
Thus, Capitalism is anti-Hindu. Hinduism promotes sacrifice. socialism means those who are more able sacrifice for their less able members of the society or do the Karma Yoga. Thus, in socialism cooperation should replace competition. Cooperation promotes harmony. Competition by itself is destructive in the long run.
Socialism is not cooperation. It is force. It the ownership by the few of the many. You seem to think that God, the Divine Mother, is in charge of socialist countries. If He/She were, she would have granted us free will i.e. self-ownership
Self-ownership defines free enterprise. It presupposes cooperation. Self-ownership presupposes, also, law which means that everyone has to compete for everyone else's time, labor, and capital. Since the individual alone is competent to make decisions for himself, this creates competence everywhere. This omnicompetence follows from mutual respect i.e. law.
Socialism disrespects. It treats humans like cattle or worse, like machines to be modified to fit the engine of intellectual's fantasies or, actually, bureaucrat's brutalities.
Socialism has nothing to do with the Vedic Tradition which is purely respectful of the individual's sovereignty.
Vedic tradition suggested individuals must do self-less work for the benefits of the society. thus, Socialism fits well with Vedic tradition which puts the intellectuals, Brahmins, at the top of the structure.
If everyone has to compete for everyone else's time, labor, and capital, the society will be brutal, guided by greed, violence and lust, all described by Krishna as the three gates of hell.
Thus, competition is anti-Vedic, cooperation is Vedic.
A society of private property is not brutal because everyone is in charge of himself. Private property rights presupposes law. It corresponds with respect for others. It is the source of service to others, therefore. It is the opposite of brutal.
Socialism denies private property and therefore denies all these other things. It is lawless, disrespectful, and brutal.

Till recent there are three models of economy prevails in the world .the capitalist model of economy ,the communist model and the less known model is vedic Sanatan model . In capitalist model system is designed that are the sources are controlled by some persons . Banking is biggest tool of capitalism . Main motive behind banking is to collect tiny amount from poor people and then lend huge amount to some persons . Then these some persons invests huge some in some commodity or land . Artificial increase the price and sell these to those poor person at inflated price who have contributed their small money to banking system . Now take a REAL example of country with population of 30 crores ,let assume that 30 crores save 1000 each and deposit into the banking system . Now banking system has 30000 crore with it and banking system lend it to some big company like ALOK INDUSTRIES LIMITED Rs 29500/- crores on 1-1-2008 . let assume that the average rate of the agricultural land is Rs 20 lacs per acre . Now ALOK INDUSTRIES invest the mammoth 29500/- crores into land @ rs 20 lacs per acre . Soon Alok industries will hold huge area of land and Declare Rs 40 lacs per acres . Now after this if some has to buy the land he has to pay Rs 40 lacs per acres instead of Rs 20 lacs .Has Alok industries created some jobs ,No . Has alok industries manufacture something , No. who is the real owner of the 29500/- crores ? answer is that 30 crore poor people who have contributed to banking system . Who are looser in this whole deal ? THE 30 CRORE common man . that is the banking system which provides tool to loot common people . This is real example how a tool of capitalist model increase the inflation . in the same way prices of all commodity increased and there by concentration of wealth in some few hand . Share market ,Insurance sector , Patent copyright , are the major tools of capitalism .
Now let we discuss communist model of economy ,in which all the resources vests with government and all the citizens gets fixed amount of salary . This models lacks incentive or punishment . So worker`s usually don't want to work . after the collapse of U.S.S.R the communist model is no longer relevant . Communist china is now turns towards capitalist model of economy . Capitalist model of economy with communist model of governance is worst form of capitalism . in India communist works in hands of caplists . Take example of hard core communist ravish kumar supports the capitalist Raghuram Rajan , Manmohan Singh .
another form of economy is the VEDIC SANATAN MODEL of economy . This model is designed in such a way it ensures that wealth is not concentrated in some few persons now take a example of VEDIC SANATAN MODEL OF INVESTMENT . in sanatan model their no banking system but instead their are small lender who lends their own money to needy . Panchayats controls these lenders ,so that they cannot exploit the poor people .
in this way we may conclude that sanatan model is best among three models .

At time 12:27 of this video, Mr Swamy talks about Brahmins,Shatriyas, Vaishyas and Sudras are not based on birth but by the kind of work they do. Firstly , birth has to happen and then the kind of work they adopt to. And his friend Rajiv Malhotra also has the same opinion.(Reference : rajivmalhotra.com/focus/, Weaving India's MAHAKATHA (Grand Narrative) for the 21st Century - Radhakrishnan Memorial Lecture...).Firstly , birth has to happen and then the kind of work they adopt to. The birth of a soul is not in the hands of Mr Swamy or Mr Rajiv. The intent is good but the purpose seems to be there but not correct. Even if an individual has taken a different direction , does not matter , he or she has already lived most part of their life, but when it comes to addressing a gathering, that he/she has to follow the given norms which is spelt out below by Lord Krishna. Bhagavad Gita was tampered with giving colour code as whites as brahmins/reddish brown as shatriyas/wheat colour as vaishyas/black as sutras by foreigners. We ourselves should not knowingly/unknowingly tamper with Bhagavad Gita and tune it to our own individual/section of society needs. There is only one version and which is finite. Atleast verses cannot be tampered with since its origin is sanskrit.

na tad asti prthivyaam vaa divi devesu vaa punaha
sattvam prakrtijair muktam yad ebhihi syaat tribhir gunaihi
There is no being on earth, or again in heaven
among the Devas, that is liberated from the three
Gunas, born of Prakriti
The three Gunas and Prakriti are identical. The
former are taken into account when distinction -is to
be made among the attainments of the Jivatmans.
But as the aggregate substance, the Gunas and
Prakriti are one and the same. From a blade of
grass up to Brahma the Creator, all the Jivatmans
are bound by the Gunas of Prakiriti. Be they the
human beings or the celestial beings, they are all in
bondage until they transcend the three Gunas. The
continuity of births and deaths is inevitable to them
when they are in the fetters of Prakriti. Their
rebirths range high and low conforming to the
predominance in them of the varying Gunas. Brahma,
the Creator is the foremost among the Jivatmans.
His functional status is the greatest; but he is not a
liberated soul. In other words, he is also involved
in the Gunas. Creation by him is impossible except
with the Gunas as the material. The greatest power
that he is endowed with is called the Prakriti laya
or the identification with the Cosmos. And his
distinction is that he is not bound to be born again.
He is having his final reincarnation. At the close of
the prevailing kalpa or eon, he enters the krama
mukti or the gradual liberation. Then he gets beyond
the Gunas.
The ways and means of liberation are now
expounded :

The Fourfold Caste Explained
braahmanakshatriyavisam Suudranaam ca paramtapa
karmaani pravibhaktaani svabhaavaprabhavair gunaihi
The duties of Brahmanas,Kshatriyas and Vaishyas, as also of Sudras, O Scorcher of foes are distributed according to the gunas born of their own nature.
Swabhava is another name attributed to Prakriti
or the Maya Sakti inherent in Iswara. This cosmic
reality is constituted of the three Gunas. Variation
in karma is based on the variation of the Gunas.
Karma in its turn leaves its samskara or impress on
the mind. As the samskaras get themselves refined,
they go to modify the nature or svabhava of the
individual. That karma and svabhava are insepara-
ble is a fact ever to be borne in mind. The varna
or the grade of evolution of a Jivatman is based on
his svabhava or nature. So it is possible to know of
the varna of an individual from his svabhava and his
karma. Of the two, the svabhava is subtle and hard
to be observed. A man of intuition alone can see
into it just as we all cognize the contents of a glass
case. Karma, on the other hand, is gross. It is
possible for us to get at the varna of a man from the
karma to which he is given. The way in which a
man makes use of his life is a sure indicator of the
varna of that man.
Why has God made some great and others small?
-is a stock question. But this question is meaningless
to the knower of the fundamental. Creation is
impossible without differentiation. No two things
or beings are alike in the Cosmos. Going back to
sameness is going back to destruction, a state
unwanted by beings. Creation proceeds on the basis
of differentiating one from another. Limbs in the
body vary with their functional differences. Bodies
vary; species vary; attempts vary; attainments vary.
There is a grandeur in the infinite varieties exhibited
by Nature. The omnipotence of the Lord stands
self -explained in this way. Infinite scope is provided
in Nature for the low to evolve into the high. Life
fulfils itself by attempting and attaining the high,
stage by stage. Varna dharma is nothing other than
a reading of this plan of Nature at all levels in
general and at the human level in particular.
Eventhough, inherently at core level, a soul's birth is based on the combination of Guna's, and at gross level,physically a soul is to be born somewhere and that somewhere is defined by Varna system as mentioned above and according to the percentages of gunas of each soul in the previous birth

Swamy is talking rubbish because no where in the Vedas these are written. If we accept Sayama version Vedas are nothing but adoration of various gods. If we accept Aurobindo version Vedas described war between knowledge and ignorance and all gods represents some quality. No where it is written that Pareto optimality is Vedic .

Dr Swamy why not the BJP stop preaching puranic vedas and mythology, instead of solving the problems facing the poor, downtrodden and social justice. If Vedas have so much scientific evidence why none of the Guys claiming so, could not get Nobel prize? Why those scientific knowledge has not been used instead of importing nuclear plants, fighter jets and other technology? Why Vedic knowledge was not used to alleviate poverty and farmers suicide?? Why the infrastructure and status of health, education and social justice in the Hindi belt are awefully bad when compared with Dravidian States? Why Rama never had a Vimana, inspite of Vedic Mahirishi Vashista as Advisor, but used chariot and a bridge across Sethu to travel to Sri Lanka? The Dravidian King Ravana had the Vimana and took away Sita in that Vimana to Sri Lanka. Why not BJP use pray to the almighty to give them wisdom to serve the Bharatvasi honestly without resorting to diversionary tactics and chaos everywhere?
