I clean hundreds of dryers and dryer ducts every year, and this isn't typical. That said, I'd say this volume of lint accumulation occurs about 20% of the time.
That was so satisfying. I have never heard of an outside lint vent before tho. All our laundry dryers have filters inside the machine itself and most not even connecting to outside at all.
I just had my dryer vent cleaned for $150. They went thru the inside of the house then outside. Had about 1/2 baggie filled with lint. Air flow very strong. A day before I had another contractor who wanted $550 and he was only doing the outside. I told him he was trying to take advantage of me and asked him to leave. I can’t believe I had to pay $150 for the service call. I learned my lesson when I called the second guy who quoted an estimate over the phone. I generously tipped the guys because they were so honest. I will use them again and recommend them. I reported the scam artist and gave them a horrible review
what about lint stuck in the dryer itself. i've had totally blocked up fan in my dryer, leading to a mini fire. the duct was actually pretty clear. the low airflow could be additional lint you didn't get out of the machine itself.
You Have TO GO INSIDE AND FIX THE SMASHED HOSE. THOSE FLAPS SHOULD BE OPENING. ITS LIKE PROFFETIONALS NOT GOING ALL THE WAY. GO ALL THE WAY YOU NEED TO GO BEHIND THE DRYER AND MAYBEY CLEAN DRYER INTERNAL PIPE ALSO

Many big cities will have ventless dryers. They don't dry nearly as fast as those ducted and vented to the exterior of a home.

The homeowner must have felt like they had a brand new dryer after you cleared out the “squirrels.”

wow thankfully my dryer vent is short and on the ground level. That was unreal.
Even the short ones can have more lint than you'd believe... but almost never as bad as this one.
Yep I went out and checked mine today! Thank you!@@DoneRightReviews
@@ChaiLatte13 How was it?
There was more lint in there than I expected!@@DoneRightReviews
THAT is a very common answer. :)
