Michael, I've been trying to get rid of branches in a photo initially with the old Healing tool and now the new one. Neither has worked. When using the new tool I don't seem to be getting the target and the source, just the former. Do you know why? Tx

Hi John! The new healing tool defaults to “Content Aware Delete” mode, as shown by the small eraser icon. This mode doesn’t show a source, just the target, and I’m guessing that is the mode you’re in. Switch to the “Heal” mode, as shown by the band aid icon, and you’ll get both target and source shown. Hope that helps!

@@MSladekPhoto No Michael, I’m using the band aid. Just tried again and no luck.

@@johnheaps2496 Hi again… I’m sorry this is misbehaving. Sounds like time to contact Adobe tech support and/or check the Adobe community forums for a solution. Hope you are able to find a solution!

Hi Michael, I found the issue while searching online. The Tool Overlay was on Never Show instead of Auto Show.

Sorry. I would have preferred to see the tools you are using For me, it was hard to actually see how you were using the tools wished the image was smaller and tools larger

Thanks for the feedback! I recorded on my 27" screen, so all the elements were sized as I usually have them on my desktop. I'll factor your thoughts when I make any new Lightroom videos. Cheers!
