jurrien75 Thanks for clarifying. I've just read some place that inflatable evacuation slide re-packing costs tenths of thousands USD. So I got the impression that they were going to replace it for some reason or the plane was getting stripped down for parts and hull scrapped.
components like this only have a certain amount of flight hours that they may be installed on a serviceable aircraft.Mostly about two years. They're being replaced with an overhauled one and the old one is often being tested to see if the shop crew who folds and prepares these slides for installation did a good job. In other words test the slide to see if it really works the way it's designed to do. The old inflated slide goes to the workshop and will be overhauled.
The 744ERF freighter has the same small upperdeck as it was on the 747 classic. Only 747-400BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) can have the longer upperdeck as they are modified passenger aircraft.

My thought exactly 😅
By the time that slide deploys there'll be no one left alive to use it
Lies
THAT WOULD BE SO FUN TO SLIDE ON!
I confirm
I miss the Boeing 747 so much.
*WEEE!!!! THAT LOOKS FUN!*
Good Luck
Why it will not come down
New planes, faster slide deployment
ThePacmanPlayz the 747 -400ER is pretty old though...

I am really interested in that door, it goes inboard, as usual, then it slides aft, as if it was a spaceship door!
Samuel Karlsson the sliding door has to be operated manually before pushing the slide out amd deploying it. It is a simple plug type door.
I mean, how to operate that door, where are the handles? does it have exterior handles as all other doors on this je???
Samuel Karlsson there's a handle on the inside. When operated the door comes towards you in a rail. Then push it backwards manually.
Samuel Karlsson it has an outer handle too but only intended for maintenance or emergency as it is hard to reach from outside
Any video of this specific door with non-slide use?
Btw, registration is PH-CKB

744ERF means 747-400 Extended Range Freighter. This one has the extra horizontal stabilizer fueltank and has a higher payload capacity
It took a long time. Why ?!?
OMG THIS IS you know who. THATS ykw GUYs!!!
1:05 wow...YKW...that YKW makes... behind there is YKW face 🇳🇱🇳🇱
Only one of the doors have to be opened for Cargo plane evacuation
Is 743ERF CARGO
Are they going to scrap it? Doesn't look too old....
HAPKAH it is still in operation

HAPKAH they cost 30000 dollars to replace the aircraft will be grounde for the day so the figure is more like 80 or 100k

JackNo Legs it’s another way of saying 747 400
How is the door opened?
It’s opened manually and pulled inwards and aft.

What the hel does that
Work
That had to have caused a dent on fuselage
Ronald Palma The slide pack rotates and engages into a lock preventing it from hitting the fuselage skin
jurrien75 that’s sweet! Darn engineers thought of everything... I just see people put a piece of cardboard sometimes
OR Whatever I say B747-100-200-300-400 Idc what is it
747-400 same-same with 744
Really 744?
