She did not use the left over syrup(raw egg)..She was drizzling melted chocolate at the end

It’s a British product that’s comparable to American corn syrup, but darker in color. Since Americans make pecan pie with regular corn syrup, you could substitute that for the golden syrup. These bars look so good! Two of the best desserts combined!

Hi, I absolutely love your recipe. I did want to ask you about the coconut sugar. Do you have to use that sugar? I don't have that.
I was thinking the same thing, I would just use brown sugar, maybe dark...all it is is pecan pie sitting on top of a cheesecake.
@@sabrinaowen7620 That's true, but there is definitely a different taste between white sugar and the light and brown sugar. I guess since she hasn't replied is to just look up pecan pie recipes and see which sugar is used. I've made a couple of pecan pie dishes and a pecan pie muffin I'll just look up those. If you find anything let me know and I'll do the same :)
Hi guys! It’s totally fine if you don’t use coconut sugar. I’d use brown sugar instead, preferably dark because I love that hint of caramel taste (but that’s just me 😄). Thanks and hope you’ll give this recipe a try!
