I was there on the day this incident happened it was a shame as it was a great venue and good meet, he shot himself in the foot by loosing the venue! And I haven't been to that venue for years this is the first one I have seen there since! The scary thing was it just reminded me how long I have owned my car as it was in my position for about 2 weeks at that point!
15:38 I was astonished to see a VF HSV Clubsport actually. Here in Australia (its birth place) they are actually not that commonly seen and seeing one in a video in England put a smile on my face. It's good to know some people overseas drive them as well.

Really interesting story Adam. It is a shame how a small minority of car show organisers can be so rude and disrespectful towards the people at the exit. I remember once I was at a small pub car meet filming the cars leaving when an organiser came up to me and started telling me to stop filming in a very rude way, calling the people revving and making lots of noise some very rude words (can't say the words because youtube flags the comment lol) so I crossed the road and moved a bit further away from the venue and started filming there. But a gtr started shooting flames and the organiser completely lost it and started shouting at the top of their voice at me and the gtr owner. And then subsequently banned me and the gtr from attending their events. Needless to say, this is not the way to treat people at car events and it is just a very small minority of people who decide to go about it in the wrong way
What if they just wanted to have a nice meet in a small pub without bellends revving the piss out of their cars being annoying to 90% of people and crass...
He hit you for 3 reasons 1: a focus st is not his favourite car 2: He doesn't love white chasers and finally it not certain neons should be bought back

Learn to box or grapple. Be prepared to throw the first punch. It is still self defence if you believe your safety is at risk when some one is coming for you, and you know it's going to escalate physically.

It's not against the law to take pics or video in a public place. Grey area if you are monetising via stock photography agencies where consent is needed to sell, but for news, it's fair game, you don't need any permission to film or take pics. I was a togger for the news for 4 years, and it's amazing the reaction people have to being photographed in a public place, and how they have no rights.
Some people are just 🔔end's. Every community has them. They come in different types too. Some pop and bang, do donuts and silly things, others hold porn up in the window....most of this is harmless fun, but depends on the situation. Then you get the perpetual "big men" who think they own the place, run around like a prat, get touchy feely with women & are just obnoxious to be around. People that deserve to have a meeting with the local woodland.

I don't understand banning the meet. It was 1 person running around trying to punch someone for standing in a public place. Should every pub, club, etc in the country be shut down because I'm sure they've all had a punter or two like that? Associated with the organisers of the event, yes, but surely the meet could have continued and the ban could have been on that individual returning to that location, being present at the time of a meet for the future, like a restraining order between them and the meet (there's probably a specific title for that), if the pub doesn't want to ban them indefinitely from the site all year round. It would have had more than just them organising it, wouldn't it?
