I really wanted to do this because there were barely any materials, but I still didn't have the materials. This is why I have never been able to do a diy 😞

The materials don't cost much, I bought jewellery pliers/set from a discount store, cost a couple of pounds.
Silly me...I made some ear cuffs as a gift to someone...used very expensive gold wire....when it wasn't just tossed aside...found it crushed underfoot with a request to make another. Well...this is cost effective so thank you...they'll get their earcuff without my wallet taking another blow.

Cute cuff and great idea for teens. Suggest letting know you are starting upside down so the bead is in the correct direction after the cuff part is made. I also had to play with quite a bit to make it fit afterwards. I've made quite a few different cuffs but found myself reworking this one due to the ear size being too small. Your instructions are clear and nice just suggest those 2 tips for users. Thank you for sharing! :)
Exactly, I have the same problem. Usual paper clips are too small for this.

I made this with scissors as pliers... Didn't work that well but I got the job done! Very nice. I will wear this all the time!

I'm super allergic to any metal... I wish I could wear ear rings, but ear cuffs are better, because I can take them off, and they're not "inserted" into me. Lol. I found out I'm even allergic to sterling silver, or that might just be that I didn't clean the ear rings. I hope so! I really want to be able to wear earrings.

I'm allergic to metal too! Like, pants buttons would cause rashes, necklaces would cause rashes, I can only wear hypoallergenic earrings (those are really easy to find though)
Alex Caron Me too, but I've never had a problem with pants buttons. I'm obsessed with jeans. I can't wear hypogenic earrings, or stereling silver ones, which most people can.

If you don't have wire cutters, use a nail clipper! It works ! If you don't have a wire pliers use scissors, it's just be a little harder

Can I use wire instead of paperclip?
since a paper clip is made out of wire it will work just fine. Make sure the wire isn't too thick though. I made this using 20guage rose gold wire. It worked great and wasent hard at all.

MochiPanda Studios so a paper clip and a wire is just a bit different cause wire it will be a bit harder to curve and no random curves
