I didn’t realize the back story. Apparently Laidlow has been saying some pretty nasty stuff to Sanders and Long for the past 3 months or so, even sending them DM’s. This wasn’t just a simple case of pre-race smack talk that pushed Long over the edge. That being said, hopefully Laidlow has learned his lesson.
Yeah haha he needed to have that big slap on his face! It was fantastic to see Yoyoyo Sam Long and Lionel to beat Laidlow’s ass.

Laidlow made his case official yesterday in Kona.
Finally he was focusing on training and not to have a big mouth about others.
Very great race, although I was still rooting for Gustav!
I never actually questioned Laidlow’s capabilities but in that interview he was cocky, harsh and disrespectful of others. We don’t need that type of behavior in the triathlon community. How about uplifting others and not putting them down..

Sam Long's identity crisis was never resolved here, not even with a post-race hug with Sam Laidlow. Thanks PTO, for airing his meltdown and continued identity crisis. Looking forward to his next Jan Frodeno, Lionel Sanders, Sam Laidlow beef gone wrong in the future.
Excellent observation! Huge identity crises of SL and lack of class.. if it didn't bother him he wouldn't have reacted.
@@kiligonzalez Don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house. Long is a goofy kid punching above his psychological ability. Recognizing his inability to go head-to-head psychologically with someone clever like Laidlow, PTO said, "Ok Sam Long, you wanna trash talk? How about we feature it!" Then it wasn't so fun. Laidlow is quick witted. That will beat goofy every time. It was an intervention for Long, a painful public one. Let's see if he learns.

You guys removed most of Laidlow's responses while showing all of Sam's. Show us the whole thing! What are you trying to cover up Laidlow's crap??
I like how he said skip a swim and still give them money on a run and bike and even with almost a four minute advantage out of the swim and they passed him on the bike. If your gonna smack talk as much as he did before you gotta back it up or you get destroyed and he got destroyed.
You’ll find over time these grossly overly arrogant athletes are drugged up. Lance, Sun Yang, Barry Bonds, the entire 100m sprint final group in Seoul, Flo Jo etc.

@@TjGeneroso This was about the PTO race where he said he was going to smoke Sam AND Lionel. Then he walked half the run course. Obviously he learned not to run his mouth BEFORE the race. 😉
Genuinely enjoyed watching Laidlow getting passed and destroyed on the bike. But EASILY the best part was neither Sanders or Long even made eye contact with this clown as they let their strength, power and endurance do all the talking.

Very much enjoyed Laidlow getting passed on the bike like he wasn't even moving after a 4 minute swim advantage, and then getting lapped on the run. The guy was the slowest out of the entire men's field by 10 min and 32 min behind the team Europe studs 😬
