The lack of information on the date or the course of the race is really a pity (as for the cycling races for example). It would really facilitate the understanding of a very interesting event, especially for the uninitiated.

@@baptisteb7144 C'est comme l'anglais qui a coupé devant le Français et l'autre athlète. Je ne sais pas vraiment, je n'ai pas envie de dire de bêtises mais je pense que ça fait parti des règles de ce triathlon. L'anglais a choisi de le faire plus tôt que les autres sur l'avant dernier tour et le Français sur le dernier.

@@baptisteb7144 c'est ce qu'on appelle un "short chute", un raccourci, que l'athlète gagne plus tôt dans le weekend dans les épreuves précédentes. Et il peut l'utiliser au moment où il le décide, le moment le plus opportun selon lui, c'est très stratégique. Ce format de course est juste génial !

@@hanssaarepere7925 it's not that I don't like him personally... Why do u like him as an athlete? Some how he's been lately winning .. something is odd .. I love to cycle... and you can tell who is a top athlete and who is not.. He is not Gomez, Brownlee brothers.... Look at how their bodies are built vs Luis... He is winning way too much.. Luis is a guy who comes in 5 or 6th place.. maybe wins 1 race every 2 yrs....if that

Sadly I think the days of the Brownlee dominance in short course have passed. I'd like to see them both concentrate on longer course now.
Ali's problem in perticular is he keeps chopping and changing distances (along with injuries) Jonny hasn't been the same since Cozumel.
I think both with move up after the Olympics anyway.

Alguém brasileiro aqui pra me explicar pq o cara corta a volta ali no final? Tenho certeza que tem alguma explicacao pra isso, pq foi muito descarado pra ter sido trapaça.
Então mano, vc percebeu que na volta anterior o jonatan brownlee fez a mesma coisa? Aí na última volta, o Vincent Luis fez o mesmo, cortou a volta antes e venceu...... estranho né! Mas esse formato de circuito é muito dahora! Os cara são muito foda
@@marcelcamargo3504 num tinha percebido isso não veih. Talvez cada competidor tinha o direito de cortar essa volta uma vez, deve ser pra dar a distancia exata da prova,sei lá. Que doidera.
@@arhurleonardo9645 sei lá Tb mano. Mas olha bem o vídeo que o Brownlee corta a volta e dá a impressão que ele fez errado, pq a reação do narrador e da torcida é estranha

Can anyone give me information on Alistair. Is he not competing anymore?
He is but I think I’m a recent triathlon he was disqualified for accidentally briefly dunking another swimmer and therefore didn’t qualify for this year’s Olympics as I think that was the qualifying race or something. I think now he’s going through ankle surgery or something as it’s been playing up for a while and now as he won’t be in the Olympics, he has the time to get it sorted. Hopefully he’ll be all healed eventually though

@@angeloherrera3615 haha well he said he didn’t even remember it and he didn’t realise he was disqualified until on the run I think, so pretty sure he’s telling the truth and that it was an accident. Plus they can get crowded in the swim so I can believe that that could happen on accident.
