- / loisdavidsonart www.etsy.com/u... This tutorial came about as a request from some of my Patreons for more line and wash demos and windmills. I used Cotman tube watercolours, some masking fluid, a sprinkle of salt, a black Sharpie permanent marker and a black Faber Castell fine liner pen size medium. My board is at an angle of about 45 degrees tilt.
There is a full unedited more in-depth tutorial on Patreon, complete with ref. photos, so if you are interested in this and many other more in-depth tutorials, please follow the link above, but best wait till the 1st of the month as if you join today you will be charged straight away and again tomorrow on the 1st...
I use various brushes, paints and inks, see video, but use whichever equipment and materials you are most comfortable with. My paper is 100% cotton Saunders Waterford, cold pressed. Thanks for watching, and happy painting!

Hello Lois, I hope you're fine, it's really very funny because I was going through Pinterest to find an interesting photo with a paint mill, so thanks for the Lesson Lois as it comes to support and enlighten my ongoing project. Bruno in France, your assiduous student.
Glad it was helpful Bruno 😊
Something and nothing 💙
Brilliant
Thanks so much 😊💐
I love this and all your demos, Lois! I’m wondering if you placed your horizon line half way up on purpose. It seems to work, but I’m always wary of placing it there.
Sometimes it happens, it was supposed to be a bit higher but the washes settled where they did. I know we are warned not to place it in the middle for fear of cutting the painting in 2, however, if sky and land are balanced it will still work
@@LoisDavidsonArt Thank you, Lois. It definitely did work for you!
