Great to see you back man. Would be great to see a video of what you've been up to over the past few years. So many great Harley bentons since your last video. Awesome playing btw, I see you've been practicing!
Hey Cory, nice to see you back in business. I really missed you and your great videos. I don't know, but did I wrote in your comments that I got myself an EX-84 Progressive? It's the cheaper version with the HBZ pickups but it is dead silent. Before it arrived I was sure to try the anti-hiss mod you made a video about. You said: "one can expect visual flaws from Harley Benton" so I must have been lucky for now. All my three HBs have absolutely no flaws at all. Neither visual nor mechanical. Very much instrument for the money. Even my 365€ Epi Les Paul Standard PlusTop Pro had a little flaw in the paint on the headstock. Not to talk about the Epi Les Paul Special II starter pack I got in 95 😅 Greetings from near Limburg/L. and all the best wishes to you and your family! Rock on! 🤘🏻
I was just checking your channel the other day because it had been so long since I saw a video from you! So glad to see you back 😁 Great review as always. Hope you and your family are doing well. God bless and rock on 👍🎸😎
Great to see a new video from you, Cory. I almost bought an amarok baritone a year ago but I went the warmoth route to get a custom baritone stratocaster instead. I hope life's been good.
fascinating guitar. i really love it.i own b stock model of bknt. locking tunners. high gain pick ups. super guitar. super videos. i got into harley benton just because of you man. love your videos man. keep them going
Hello Stranger! I was gobsmacked when I saw your name in my notifications, great to see you back Cory! nice guitar, Im not a metal fan but I do appriciate good HB guitars and that seems like one of them!
Welcome back Cory!! I believe we all missed your super in depth reviews and you of course. I hope you and your family are well and hope to see more of your videos soon. Cheers from Greece!
Glad to see you back buddy! This format seems to work for many people so wish you luck with it and hope to see you more often. And last but not least - amazing playing!
Hey brother! Glad to see you're back! I was wondering why you dissapeared but now we know... happy to hear you are better my brother! And BTW, you have some good tones in this video. PLugin or amp & mic? Keep them coming!
great video, great review. i really wanna buy this guitar and make some changes. one of them is the bridge. i wanna put the original hipshot bridge but i 've read in a forum that is not compatible...
damn, I was getting ready to get the Ibanez RGRT 421 but now this is has caught my eye. I like that it comes with a Tusq nut and not a plastic one. Looks awesome! If you had to pick one, would you go Ibanez rgrt421 or this Harley Benton Amarok 6? Im going to put Dimarzio D activator humbuckers in the Ibanez
Just curious. Have you ever played the baritone version of this model. I own one exactly like the one in the video, just wanted to know about the baritone. Great guitar!
Great to see you again Cory, this HB is pricey for them, and even though it is made in indonesia, the quality in some areas is lacking. I think the Fusion range is better value, not a model that i would be prepared to buy at this price level. Thanks for your excellent honnest review.
Regarding what you can expect from HB: From the last 9 out of 10 guitars I ordered the HB guitars had significant issues with the fretwork. They are nearly always unpolished. Not a huge deal but they also nearly always have heavy marks (from tools or whatever) on some frets and are not leveled properly. There are always at least a few frets which are too high. Most of the nuts I have seen are also nearly always too high. The fb support group makes it look like there are mostly visual issues with the HBs but the important issues definitely comes with the poor fretwork on the harley Bentons. edit: also. welcome back, Cory.
There are 2 things I don't like about this guitar, firstly the brown binding on the body and secondly the neck thru, to be honest I find the optics crappy. Unfortunately, these two points disqualify the guitar for me as an object of purchase.
Cory, you could use a tiny sticker on the back of the headstock with CM. Proof that the guitar belonged to you at some point. Maybe good for resale value and collectora item some day :) Btw: your playing some really ripping chops there man.. it improved drasticly. Two thumbs up!
Thank you! About the sticker.. I don't know man, I am not George Clooney.. I don't see how my ownership improves the worth of an instrument. But i am humbled, thanks again
@@CoryMura What i actually mean is that whenever someone pimps, or tune a car it is called M for BMW, or Brabus for Benz for example. They use their logo on the car. Also for guitar pedals Analog Man and Keeley for example. They begun tune existing pedals and as a result the gear gets better, now they have their own product line. I very much like the in depth reviews but also how you pimped some of the guitars and made them better. It deserves a little QC quality check stamp from you. 👍🏼
I own an Amarok-7, no knots on the fretboard but it's personally something that I would not mind at all. I would even say it gives the guitar a little bit of personality and uniqueness. However with my Amarok, I really struggle with the insanely high output of the EMG pickups, even with a fairly aggressive noise gate, the strings ring out super easily and it's extremely hard to keep everything muted correctly when playing.

👍
Dude comes back after idk how long, hows about a video saying : hey guys im not dead 😂
Just curious. Have you ever played the baritone version of this model. I own one exactly like the one in the video, just wanted to know about the baritone. Great guitar!
No, never had the baritone
Good demo as always.
Damn. Harley Benton is just my favorite guitar. They are always so sexy.
I’m running a 12-56 set in drop b, no problem fitting the 56 at all
Without modifying the nut? Okay
@@CoryMura maybe the slightest bit of filing to make it fit and slide through smoothly

I mean the Fusion range has self branded pickups, so I guess that makes up most of the difference for the consumer.
you're back wtf!!!
I am here to stay now
@@CoryMura great. you were missed.
I don`t understand why Thomann won`t make a neckthrough with EMG`s and a Floyd Rose bridge.
11:00 not just rock and metal i played some blues on it and it's sound good
Nice tone!
I am sooo bummed they don't have the blue Amarok 6 string anymore
Endlich.....hatte schon mit dem Schlimmsten gerechnet.....
Return of the king?
Are you asking if i returned or if i am a king?
Return: yes
king: nope
