Girlfriend worked at Claire’s in 96. I got my ear pierced there that same year. Memories of making my dad go into hot topic to buy me jynco’s will never be forgotten. Cause he didn’t and he made the quickest exit.😂
This mall is a great place to walk around and get out of the house without dealing with crowds. No worries about overspending either. There’s only one store I still shop in.
I used to hang out there all the time when I lived in North Dallas from 2000-2011, but especially from 2000-2004 when I didn't really know anyone in town. I went to the old Cinemark theaters a lot. There used to be a Suncoast store upstairs that I bought a lot of dvds and cds from. There was a pretty good used dvd store there too. I would make a whole day of it on the weekends: go to a movie, hit a few stores, and get lunch or dinner in the food court. Sad to see what the mall has become, but no mall is what it used to be anymore sadly.
You should do The Great Mall of The Great Plains in Olathe, Kansas. It was built in the 90s as part of the Mills-type entertainment oriented outlet mall craze, but failed.
