Edd, you really are quite amazing!!! Whatever you tackle, you do it so professionally and the care/measuring/approach is 100% thorough!!! Anna, well I think you are the kindest and most supportive wife - you are both so lucky to have each other!
Edd and Anna, the shutters look fantastic. The travertine bull nose looks awesome, too. I'm anxious to see the whole room completely finished. The front door will be the pièce de résistance. ❤ from TX!
Edd, please stop telling us you’re not perfect doing this, or that. We don’t expect you to be perfect. Stop expecting it of yourself. You do meticulous work and everything turns out beautifully.
Such a sweet couple , enjoy watching and listening to the teachings of Edd and the AMAZING encouraging Anna!! Love and respect from Canada 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️
Edd, Never will I ever say you cannot turn any given place into a dream home!!!! I promise of my dear departed mother's famous secret pie recipe. That place is looking fabulous!
Love that garden oasis! The sun bathing the stone and concrete....a quiet space to curl up with a glass of wine. The shutters turned out gloriously! What an amazing transformation all around! Cheers to you all from Canada 🇨🇦🫶
The little outside area is looking really pretty and I love the shutters. I think it is a good idea to have all the shutters working so that the house can be shut up if needed due to storm or being vacant.
I think being able to shut and lock the shutters will provide some extra shelter from winter and stormy weather and also added security while away, so with that in mind, I think being able to lock them from the inside would be ideal. Looks a lot nicer than it started out! like a different building, same, but different :)
The stone seating is a fantastic choice it's Amazing what you can Achieve when one thinks outside the box 🤗👍⭐ Shutters are looking impressive 🤗👍 ⭐ ☕🍰💐☕🍰 Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
That is looking absolutely amazing! I can just imagine a large pot of plumbago (or bouganvillia in that sheltered spot) sitting in the corner and shooting up the wall. Wow.
You mentioned the front door today. You should contact Billy Petherick andvm ask him to put you in touch with the sand blasting company he has used at both the Chateau and the Convent. If you sandblast the door to clean it up, you'll be able to give it a new coat of paint.
Wonderful and unique space - sunny and peaceful.❤ The travertine tiles are gorgeous, and Edd is perfectionist and picky 👍🥰👍 Thank for this video, Anna, and for editing ✌️😊❣️
I appreciate watching Ed take the time to do projects correctly. So many contractors do their work fast, easy and half-assed(pardon my French ;) And I’m learning Ed!
I spent much of last month working on my tiny teerrace garden and refinishing several sets of ancient oak shutters on my small holiday home just up the valley from Bordeaux, so I can certainly relate to your work! Cant wait to see it finished!
Edd, you told everyone in the last video that you were using your phone and the quality wasn't perfect, so obviously, a lot of people didn't hear that. I was OK with it and watched it all. I am no expert, but I think you did a great job laying those slabs, especially with the bulge. They look great to me. I hope your renters won't mess the stone up with soil, etc. I know you will put a sealer and protective coat over them. The shutters look fabulous. I hope you get a better quote on the door. Have the kids started back at school yet? Best wishes always.❤
You and Ed are such an impressive couple: both talented, both have impressive worth ethic, and both good to the children. I so enjoy your presentations.
Edd,Anna my dear friends. Edd is such a perfectionist. I love his work. The transformation is so amazing. He has done an incredible job thus far. Anna you have also done the most amazing videography work. I wish I could be the person moving in. Well my loves. Until next time. Please, take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍾🥂🌈👍🕊🙏😇❤️🇺🇸🌞🌹
Love you two so much you are brilliant thank you so much for this video the people who live there will be so lucky l hope they appreciate all this perfect work you are doing best wishes from Lynda please arrange a holiday soon for you both and your lovely children life is too short.❤❤❤❤
Remove the boot scraper and install on the opposite side of the doorway where there is more room. This will allow that shutter to open flat against the wall and be hooked like the others eventually will be. There is no use for the other house number as there is no actual door. It will only confuse people. Use it as an ornament inside, possibly it will make a good talking point inside the back garden.
When in Bordeaux a few days ago, I took the opportunity to take a peek at your building project. I found it quite weird to see IRL the place I had seen so many times in your videos. But I was most impressed by the location. Neighbourhood with lots of potential and it may well become a hot place to live in the near future. Well done!
Anna, Edd the shutters looks so good. I like the thick tiles for the seating area. Anna I'm kinda like Edd when I'm sewing English Paper Pieces if it doesn't sew up flat I will rip the seams and start over. God bless you Anna, Edd, Family God bless your Family's
Just watched the episode with Anna at the touring the convent! What an absolutely wonderful tour and channel cross-over. Your joy and enthusiasm was contagious. Michael acting as cameraman was an added bonus! I love both of your channels.
What are you going to o see be the court yard with? I recommend the pebbles that come in tile matrices. That way it would have an outdoor 33:09 feel. If it were my place, I would cut openings in the street side patio wall and put in glass blocks. I would feel claustrophobic in that closed space. But I would also add plant walls and the make the whole space garden.
The pool was awesome!!! I love stone/rocks also. lol Wow this looks good. The shutters look so very good Anna! I can't wait to see the door on the building. I love all that you all are doing to bring this property back to life! Going to be so beautiful. The tile work is awesome! Love the look So nice! All the best!
Thankyou for sharing another wonderful vlog. You certainly have an eye for detail. So meticulous and thought out. As for your lines, don’t worry Edd I can’t do anything straight 😮🫢😂🤣😘😘
How about instead of hooks on the back of the shutters that will show when they are closed, as well as requiring someone to go outside to hook them. Maybe use some type of wedge that goes in the joint when opened that keeps them in place. You can even attach the little wedges with a chain so it keeps them near the shutters when not in use.
The garden is cute, you could make it really beautiful and larger, a little Oasis. Stainless steel or stone trough planters, Tall Vertical mirrors with square trellis over the mirrors, climbing plants, and a slim water feature in the corner. lots of cushions and wall lights 😍
I don`t often comment on this channel because t`s difficult to do so without becoming a sycophant. You know your trade you work through problems until they`re resolved, it`s great viewing. The tiny garden situation is phenomenal though, to have had the vision in the first place and then to be carrying it out so meticulously is mind boggling. Wishing you both the very best as always.
It’s so satisfying seeing Edd using his fantastic builder’s skills on another tricky project. Thanks too for the filming Anna!
We miss seeing Louie ..... Wishing him the greatest of Luck on his hat shop !
Yes. Maybe he can come back few days a week? The customers are certainly not placing dozen of orders for hats each days. Who knows?
@@ClaraSunshine I would love to buy a hat, if only I could afford it.❤️
Could he visit them?
Dear Anna, she always looks for the positive and to say something encouraging.
Always the cheerleader! Love Anne’s contributions of narrating and editing behind the camera!
From where it started, the transformation up to now is brilliant! ❤ from 🇺🇸
The shutters look amazing Edd! The seating tiles are beautiful too! I was happy to see you wearing your back belt.😊
I could just tuck myself away in that far corner with seat and back cushions and read a good book!!! What an extremely crazy out door space!!!❤
Edd, you really are quite amazing!!! Whatever you tackle, you do it so professionally and the care/measuring/approach is 100% thorough!!!
Anna, well I think you are the kindest and most supportive wife - you are both so lucky to have each other!
The tiles are looking great. 👍
Edd and Anna, the shutters look fantastic.

The front door will be the pièce de résistance.
❤ from TX!
Love that Ed is wearing his back brace.
The bench seating in the garden looks terrific! It’s exciting starting to see the finished surfaces. Keep up the good work!
I love the tile. Makes a huge difference finishing off the patio. And the shutters are perfect. Good job Edd.
Edd, please stop telling us you’re not perfect doing this, or that. We don’t expect you to be perfect. Stop expecting it of yourself. You do meticulous work and everything turns out beautifully.

It will be a lovely spot for your morning tea!! So bright and sunny. Good job
That garden is perfect for a bonsai collection! 🤩
Or a "green wall".
I would love to have that small garden area. This house is going to be a dream for someone
Edd, Never will I ever say you cannot turn any given place into a dream home!!!! I promise of my dear departed mother's famous secret pie recipe. That place is looking fabulous!
What a blessing it would be to live in a home you two have worked on.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Anna is right when she said we are watching a teacher, Ed.
As always a pleasure watching
You two 🤝🌿🕊💫💫💫
The tiles are beautiful. Such an inviting place! So well done...
I really can’t wait for the front door to go in. What a difference it will make to the whole exterior of the apartment.
The cottage looks stunning well done everyone!!😊
Ed does such exacting work. I love to watch him.
I think being able to shut and lock the shutters will provide some extra shelter from winter and stormy weather and also added security while away, so with that in mind, I think being able to lock them from the inside would be ideal.

Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
That saying "measure twice cut once" must be a world wide thing. I live in Canada, I'm 70 and I heard my dad say that his whole life!
She's coming along, nicely, Anna and Edd. Everything you have done so far looks excellent. Ooh la la...
Lovely courtyard with the surround seating 👌
That is looking absolutely amazing! I can just imagine a large pot of plumbago (or bouganvillia in that sheltered spot) sitting in the corner and shooting up the wall. Wow.
The little garden area will be wonderful😊
Now that I am a single senior, I appreciate. the dimensions of small house.
You mentioned the front door today. You should contact Billy Petherick andvm ask him to put you in touch with the sand blasting company he has used at both the Chateau and the Convent. If you sandblast the door to clean it up, you'll be able to give it a new coat of paint.
Nice job on the tiling Edd looking good, Thanks for sharing Anna and Edd😘
Edd’s magical touch with stone comes into play again! I’m looking forward to seeing it finished!
Great progress. Going to be a nice finish. My 7th gr. grandfather was born raised there before immigrating in 1687.
Love the stone with the bullnose, it looks beautiful and when someone is living there they can have potted plants as well as seating. Great space. ❤
It is certainly coming along very well... I can't wait to see how the front will look with that lovely door on it.
Love all the finishing detail. That really makes a difference.
What a fantastic job you are making. I love you demanding a lot of yourself. The garden looks magical❤️💕
Wonderful and unique space - sunny and peaceful.❤ The travertine tiles are gorgeous, and Edd is perfectionist and picky 👍🥰👍 Thank for this video, Anna, and for editing ✌️😊❣️

Those tiles look brilliant. You did a fantastic job!
Cannot wait for the new door to complete the look. Just seeing next door with the horrible seventies improvements😊
Someone will want to buy this house before you finish…just amazing workers! Hope Ed’s back is back on track! 😂😂😂
That pool with the turquoise reflective stones was lovely - yes please !

Do luv the garden enclave , plants will change the vista amazingly
Evening Edd&Anna😊
You’re such a good strong team , love the way you explain how your doing a job. Love from Australia 🇦🇺
Wow, the tiling really makes that garden space pop! 🤩
A small 45 degree cut at the end of the right tile might be a nice touch to finish off the sharp edge. Nice job!
Anna, You’re such a good cheer section!!
Love those stone tiles, Ed ❤. Amazing how you turn your hands to any job.
Wish you would wear a mask in that stone dust 😊Beryl ,Zanzibar
If a garden is created, flowers will bloom and birds will fly in.
The garden is cute, you could make it really beautiful and larger, a little Oasis. Stainless steel or stone trough planters, Tall Vertical mirrors with square trellis over the mirrors, climbing plants, and a slim water feature in the corner. lots of cushions and wall lights 😍
You guys work so hard. Best wishes!❤❤❤
Interesting choice. I will watch to see your vision emerge.
Wow 🤩 Edd the slabs look stunning ❤ fabulous work. Big love to you both xx
I so enjoy your videos
Great job on the tiling Ed. If I had that sun room I'd fill it up with beautiful plants. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
Great job Ed
Great job buddy, slowly but perfect! Cheers!!
That little kink in the wall is causing a problem but you handled it well Edd 👍🏻💞 that looks fab ❤
The front house looks pretty perfect and proud well done Edd It’s hard to yakka but satisfying in the end ❤👏
