Alcaraz is still young, do you think his forehand technique will change by the middle or end of his career?

This is my bible for technique analysis! For your question, I think Alcaraz likes to destroy the ball so he's going to keep staying back if not go farther back once he gets a step slow.

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Carlos is great for the game, I hope to see him and Jannik battling for slams in 2025.

Thanks for the video! Is Alcaraz truly using a semiwestern grip or is it somewhere between the semiweastern and eastern?

Good l He appears to be solidly at a semi-western grip.

Alcaraz never seems to struggle in forehand to forehand battles against sinner so I don't think it will strain his game

Very true. His forehand has held up.

I've seen him struggle forehand to forehand against Djokovic though. Djokovics forehand not as powerful as Sinners but it's got more depth and accuracy. I found this quite shocking tbh. Might also be a function of how elastic Djokovic is, meaning it's so hard to out manoeuvre him in a cross court forehand battle. Some analysis on this would be interesting.

Jason super analysis as always. You mention Fognini and his no loop forehand. To me, it looks so simple, compact, and powerful. Could you do an analysis of the Fognini forehand sometime?

Just read this now for some reason. I’ll definitely do an analysis of Fabio’s forehand. Thanks for watching.

@TennisUnleashed Thanks so much. His countryman Berrenttini seems to have similar technique to me? But Fognini seems maybe more compact.
