Dawg the only guy to somehow fit in a tangent about why he doesn’t wear spiked rings anymore whilst talking about the Exhumed Hemdale split. But that’s why we love this channel.
Inspired by your interview the other day, I want to see you try and interview members of Babymetal and/or Band Maid please. Ask them what they think the first death metal album was and the best representations of roughness and toughness in metal.
Cool reissues Dawg, but I gotta say. That new Six Feet Under SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMS roughness and toughness, from the riffing to the drumming, the solos, there was even a part where the bass stood out and HELL even the god damn vocals this time around sound great from the AAAAAAAAAAAAAALMIGHTY Chris Barnesyard. That album sends the new Deicide home on a streeeeeeeeeeeeeetcher, and for the sloths and bubbles in the back, even Nile's gonna have some tough work to do to keep up with this album, DEFINITELY Grind's fave of the year so far.
@@unsoundproductions-cn1py Chris Barnes I'm pretty sure does like some real deal undeground Metal I'm pretty sure. The Cho-mo at Banger TV I think said Barnesyard likes Antichrist Siege Machine which that's definitely badass.
I might have to order that Exhumed/Hemdale split...I remember when it came out and wanted it bad, but by the time I could find it I'd already had the Relapse issued compilations of both bands so I let it go...
yup never got a copy of the Hemdale/Exhumed split. I found it on file sharing sites back in the early 00's. That led to a huge rabbit hole of trying to track down all the Hemdale and early Exhumed stuff. Is it true that Hemdale came up with their name by combing something from Evil Dead and the street John Wayne Gacy lived on?
Interesting, I always wondered where their name came from. I had to google the Gacy street, but that would make sense. Not sure what the Evil Dead reference of “hem” would be though 🤔
Just stumbled upon some funny shit, the Italian band Barbarian (on HHR) has just released a 2 track EP, including a Celtic Frost cover and judging by the cover art, they're clearly mocking the shitty Vanity/Nemesis. This is likely a teaser, expect another full-length this year.

Dear J-Dawg, In the interest of quality control, the CD version of the new Desolus album System Shock (jamming it right now), somebody cocked up the track list! It's a 10 track release, but listed as 9. The error lies in that the 2 minute instrumental track (track 7) is not listed.
