►A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm Dean Wolfe, a mostly self-taught Canadian guitarist/composer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/producer/performer. I started out as a full time musician, on the road at age 17-19, then went part-time ever since, holding 'day-careers' like chef (red seal papers), spiritual health care while raising a family. As a producer I've made hundreds of my own songs for media and award winning documentaries etc. I've been in several bands including a prog/jazz fusion act nFuze, playing International Jazz festivals and jazz clubs. I like to explore grunge, pop rock and alternative, alt-folk / acoustic fingerstyle guitar, ambient electronic and classical as well. Recently i 'discovered' shoegaze and lo-fi. I have a home studio that is ramping up for lots more music so stay tuned.

More Pixies, please. Great points about what you love. The garage sound is one I never thought of and now that you mentioned it, it really is effective, yet subtle enough. That was funny watching you try to reach that high note.

This so g is beautifully haunting and just a little bit kooky!
It's so funny to hear Kim's Ohhh-Hoooo backing vocal followed by Charles firmly saying "Stop", after learning the band dynamics of her wanting to sing more, and him being a bit of a jerk about it. One of my all time faves. When I 1st heard them in the late 80's it changed everything.
Doolittle is a great album. One that I could listen all the way through and not skip tracks. Surfer Rosa (the album this track is from) is also pretty solid. Come On Pilgrim is good too, if you want to hear how they started
