I like Codos so much I made one on the coast and another at a lake, don't have anything but a LP and house on both, pro tip; rename your outpost to reflect what's there, very helpful when you start getting a lot of outposts!
For those who wish to know what armor set was used in this video, It's the N7 Armor ( Mass Effect Retextures of Starborn Armor and Mantis Armor Replacer) from Nexus. It's not on Xbox yet but the Permission is open for anyone who wishes to port it over.
The thing with Starfield is that there are so many great vista locations that would make a great Outpost for whatever your reason be it a Vista location, hiding spot or relaxing spot but there is no easy way in game to remember the exact location you found it. You have no way of saving list of places or locations for specific list for remembering where it was. That said, I like the high crater base location for a huge lab outpost and office to kickback. Plus if you can see a huge ring planet in the sky to add to the vista. Even better if it’s a low gravity moon.
Great content! I particularly don't like these locations but they were YOUR favorite locations, not the carbon copy of every other content "creator." I'm tired of "Top 9" this for purely subjective topics. You display originality and the true spirit of playing the game. 👏 you deserve more subs
An active volcano vista I can’t exactly recall seeing that, but be cool if you can build in a nice area close by. I’ve forgotten lots about planets visited in the game playing since launch. But I do believe the commenter who mentioned volcano on Kreet may be correct. Been a damn long time since last was there. Have surely visited planets that have earthquakes a plenty and not sure what the mechanic was behind that seemingly was cut from the game.
I have an outpost on Jaffa IV near Vulture's Roast because it's a beautiful planet with a SW USA vibe and the Ecliptic base at Vulture's Roast respawns!
Went and checked out some the locations. Found the really high mountain on Hawking I, that mountain is high as hell as well damn steep and really hard to get up. Have to up my Jetpack skills to get to the top. Have to revisit it. But it made me wonder why in the world anyone decided out the blue to climb that mountain in the first place. Falco’s island was my kinda place. Might just setup an Outpost there across the lake like you did. But funny enough I had been to that island before for some quest or something. Just never entered the house compound when I had went there the first time for some odd reason.
Great video, these locations r sick. I’m new to the game but have been enjoying it, could you please make a video about outpost locations for mining lots of good resources together? Or if anyone has some advice it would be appreciated!!
They are to a point. Biomes are all the same placement in the system map but *most* terrain is generated, and the flora/fauna/mineral are all procedural.
I’ve played the game quite a while. I’d say the planetary/moon locations and places on them are fixed, but the resource generation and distribution is auto procedural generated.
I made a crater base on THE moon (Luna) that had a nice view of Earth. I love the tranquility of the lifeless moons in this game.
I'm right there with you! I was looking to make a cool lunar base as well

Ive watched a bunch of these, and this one is my favorite. Great job 👏

Dormant volcano is nice, but I really want an outpost overlooking an active volcano! 🌋
That's the DREAM
@@Nickaroo93 Apparently there are some large active volcanoes on Kreet! 😁🌋

I have also seen some on Denebola 1b and Bradbury 4. There are probably several other places with active volcanoes.
Thanks for the good Starfield content!

Thanks for checking out the video! I have that one coming out next :)
6:35 man I wish you posted the exact location for that crater ❤️❤️❤️
What gear is that??? I neeeeed that spacesuit
Are these landmasses always the same? I thought the maps are randomized.

That fucking backpack is so fucking amazing.
Are these locations fixed or like most other planets randomly generated?

Bond, James Bond. Diamonds are Forever.
