I have no idea what to major in. I’m not passionate about any major. I’m not particularly good at anything……I’ll probably try to go for accounting 😓 but I probably won’t be good at it.
I watched this video to help my husband with ideas who is in the military and is interested in the business major after he gets out. I am in dental hygiene and have a previous associates degree that I eventually wanted to get a bachelors in something else...now i might just do business lol. Seems interesting and rewarding. Thanks for this video! Super helpful
Interesting video! Transportation Management can be an interesting field. I earned a B.S.B.A. with a concentration in Marketing: product, price, promotion and PLACE. Raw materials in and finished product out. I spent most of my career employed by a paper mill, enjoyed the work and earned a decent salary. Making things move by truck, rail, ocean vessel and aircraft- it's just cool work.
just wanted to gain others thoughts on this: Does anyone else not like how much healthcare has turned into TOO much of a business so much so that it starts to seem like certain companies that manufacture specific prescription drugs tend to jack up their prices knowing their consumers who need said pharmaceutical drugs to maintain a healthy day to day when healthcare should be about exactly what it says. Healthcare, not profits per say. I don't know. I can't be the only one who must feel this way and I for one am not opposed to sharing my personal standpoint on this. BUT, amazing video Calvin, this has really been extremely informative for someone like myself who is fascinated by ALL things business and have decided to go back to school for my business degree and simply and trying to get a head start on figuring out what I may be able to do with it.
Man I am in a degree that is related to social sciences, yet I watch these vids. Just knowing my course will never give me the life I wish unless I take up law. Awesome content my friend

Though a degree is not always required, Recruitment/Talent Acquisition is limitless as well. Especially for IT, healthcare, or other commission based recruitment.
You could always get a business degree and have concentrations within management and/or finance. You could also get a business degree and on the side get different finance related certificates. Hope this helps, wishing you all the best!
Awesome video! I will have a BA in Business Administration this Winter. What job do you feel would be best? There is not really a focus or a minor... I almost feel like I made the wrong decision because I don't know which way to go after finishing school. Any suggestions?
You're getting investment bankers confused with portfolio managers. Bankers don't actually invest money, they raise capital, handle IPOs and serve as advisors on buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions. It's an advisory role, not an investment role.
Investment banking doesn't make any decision about resources allocations. They are more like advisories. If you want to know what an investment banker do search about its specifics roles ( M&A, ECM and DCM).
