2015 Dodge Dart SXT My car starts to over heat at a long red light or if I'm parked while the car is on. Especially if the AC is on it'll actually start blowing out hot air. It'll start to cool down once i hit over 30mph for a while and I'm able to use the AC and it feel cold too. I've already changed the thermostat. Idk what else to do. Would replacing the water pump help?
A little advice.. never wedge / or pry at the seam of contact for removals especially aluminum... tap the piece itself your trying to remove.. it's ready bad anyhow
So the best way to check if the water pump or where your leak is at is to do a pressure check. The pressure check will detect a leak on the hoses radiator thermosat housing heater core an water pump. Pressuring the system will give you a more accurate idea where the problem is
I was gonna change my thermostat bc I thought that was were it was leaking coolsnt thank God I realized it was just the hose I had to replace that thermostat woulda took me a whole day forsure

Very helpful. Is there a way to change it along with the entire water pump housing or adapter
