An oz of orange oil with some liquid soap in a quart of water makes a good non toxic spray for mosquitos. Can spray surroundings and on your exposed arms and legs.

Welcome to Utah. The biting insects are known here as "No-See-Ums", because, of course, you can't see um! They show up this time of year at areas around the Great Salt Lake. Nothing keeps them out of one's camper -- not screens or roof vents, etc. Their bites are awful and insect repellant does not deter them either. We bought mosquito netting to wear around our heads, & know to always wear long pants, long sleeves, tall boots, & keep your shirt collar turned up around your neck. You can call the visitor center at Antelope Island to see how bad the infestation is before you plan a visit. However, the area is BEAUTIFUL and you should plan a return visit when the No-See-Ums season has passed. Surely there's a Bible scripture about obnoxious species that are able to survive no matter the conditions. 😊
These weren’t no see ums as I could plainly see that they were mosquitoes. 🦟 🤮😁🚐🐈⬛👍🏻

Not sure what A/C system you are running but they typically draw between 500 watts to 1050 watts/hr. I stay in an RV in the Florida Keys during winter months and even then with daytime temps averaging mid to high 70's I use quite a bit of solar running A/C. Typically I can use the eco mode after say 3:00 pm in the afternoon and the rest of the evening and night.
A/C systems are power hungry.
