It's almost as if you were inside my head and you knew all the things I found pleasing and cute. Every single one of your drawings and paintings is just my style. I would LOVE to write a children's book with you!
The first mushroom you sketched 🍄 is rich in history, dating back to the beginning of time! Amanita Muscaria will introduce you to good or evil, depending on what lives inside your heart! I am learning so much about drawing and painting, thank you for sharing your knowledge and talents!
I love your doodles and and painting world. Please keep on making doodle videos for us. if you have butterflies doodles would be great!!! thanks for sharing your passion.
I absolutely love mushrooms and i have to say I don’t find anything gross about them, they are incredible as they grow out of microscopic mycelium which is is so unusual and incredible, its the best of the kingdom fungi which interestingly enough is beautiful, if you ever see funguses, even the gross ones that grow on food under the microscope they are very cool and unique. Love this tutorial.
Omg I've been waiting for this😻 i was supposed to comment yesterday in one of your vids to pls make an art about mushrooms but it slipped my mind😅 i love mushrooms 🍄 thank you for this!🤗🙏🏼❤️🍄❤️
I love these! The references in the corner were helpful and the commentary for each mushroom helped me understand your shading method. I'm not good with ink but I may be giving it a try again. Thank you ♥
Oh really?? I love mushrooms haha they come in so many weird shapes. Try to go to pinterest and search for "mushroom photography", there are so many types and colours, very interesting to look at :))
The History of Mushroom Drawings Mushroom drawings have been found throughout history, from Ancient Greek pottery designs to Renaissance tapestries. While the exact reasons why mushrooms were chosen as a subject are unclear, some believe that they represented fertility or abundance due to their prolific growth in the wild. Additionally, mushrooms often appeared in folklore stories about magical transformations and were associated with immortality. The use of mushrooms as a motif may have started in Japan in the 16th century, when Fungi-san (“Mushroom Mountain”) became popular among painters. During this period, traditional Japanese culture held nature in high regard, and mushroom drawings were seen as an homage to the natural world. Over time, these depictions became both more detailed and symbolic. In particular, shiitake mushrooms were believed to bring fortune and longevity. Mushroom themes also appeared in European art during the 1600s, particularly within Dutch still-life paintings. Many of these works focused on highlighting the beauty of nature by juxtaposing delicate mushroom specimens with other organic elements like plants and fruits. These also often included religious symbols such as crucifixes or angel wings for further significance. By the 19th century, mushrooms began appearing more regularly in other forms of art such as poetry and literature where they symbolized innocence or visions of another world full of possibilities. australiapsilocybins.com/trippy-mushroom-art/
i love this video, i am also a mushroom enthusiast. i am currently working on an entire series of mushroom drawings and paintings (currently struggling with the morel mushroom). i recommend the rosy parasol for a future watercolor. i think you will find the shape and color very pleasing to work with. thank you for your drawing and explaining the things you make, it is helping me take a simpler eye to shape instead of over complicating things. :)
Love it! 🍄 you just keep gifting and gifting ideas! 💐💗🍀 thank you soo much for this fun shroom class! 🧙♀️I’ll have to attempt to learn you’re shroomies spells! Cos they are absolutely Gorgeous😻!
I absolutely love love love your work and I try to learn from you. Is there anyway that you can change your camera angle so that I can actually see your process of drawing as you go, it’s hard looking over your hand. This is just a suggestion, I appreciate your work and dedication to your craft.❤
Nia, these are such perfect drawings and something very fun to try. I'm sorry I haven't gotten to watch before this. As you know we had the wedding. Maybe I already told you, lol, I've lost track this past week. The wedding sure was different because of restrictions but the ceremony was beautiful. The mask helped to hide my trying to keep from crying from happy emotions. So happy for them and to be able to call her my daughter in law. I really needed to take the week to get rested up. Now I have quilt tops coming in that I have to figure out designs and then stitch them out. Work not back to normal since the drop because of Covid but at least it's some paying work. I'll have less time but I plan on keeping up with your videos. I enjoy them so very much.
No worries! I know you were busy with the wedding, and despite the changes and restrictions I'm so glad that everything was beautiful and went according to plan! Congratulations for officially getting a new member in the family :D:D I'm also happy to hear that you have a new quilting job coming, and I hope you have fun figuring out the designs and the execution. Meanwhile it's better to rest after the wedding because goodness knows you've put so much heart and effort into planning it with your family. Hope you and your family stay healthy and happy!
Gosh! These turned out so adorable. You're so talented. I had first followed your beach watercolour tutorial and it came out beautiful. I was not much of watercolour person and your tutorials just made me realize the magical beauty of watercolour and now I just love doing small watercolour doodles to large scale landscapes. You're such an awesome teacher and you inspired my own art channel. Thankyou so so much
Oh my God, Nia! This is FABULOUS..... it's like you always know what type of tutorials I need. This is a huge help for my current project. And the style is very aesthetic as well. ❤ . . But dear, can you do something Halloween themed? Like something witch-y but also cute? Please
Thank you so much! Hope this is helpful for your project :)) Unfortunately, I'm not really into witchy stuff and I don't usually do tutorials for portraits because there are so much to break down for the human anatomy.. However if you want to learn abt figure drawings and anatomy, I'd recommend proko. He's amazing, I always go to the channel whenever I get stuck. Hope this helps :))
@@Nianiani Ah! I see....I actually meant Halloween doodle....sorry couldn't explain clearly......but anyway thanks and I'm looking forward to your goodies in future ... 🥰
Aww sorry if it was too fast. Maybe you can try to slow the video down from the option, and I usually recommend to pause in between if you wish to draw along to the tutorial :)))
@@Nianiani Thank you. I only wanted to gauge if I am drawing too slow or too fast. I know we all draw at our own speed, but sometimes it’s easier to get cleaner lines if you go faster and not wobbly slow, things like that.
