Yes that same approach was posted that earlier in a veil grinder FB discussion. I also looked at the pin and it is conceivable that a person could hollow drill the existing pin to the size that the TAS shaft would take and then it would be dual purpose keeping the original pin. That possibly might just require a drill press. Old clamp and new clamp could be used. Love that people think up of great ways to adapt and make a good tool, better!
