- In this video I go over 5 conceal carry tips I wish I knew before I began my conceal carry journey. This tips can easily be applied to how you conceal carry your firearm, and adapted to your lifestyle. There are many more tips to consider on this topic, but these are the big ones I needed to learn from personal experience. Make sure to follow me on Instagram to see what I am up to!

I've been carrying and competitively shooting for decades. Last month I started working at a gun range/store and was very surprised at, what I thought was common gun knowledge, was completely unknown to most of our customers. You've just taught me about sweat in a magazine. Your words are not wasted...
Most gun owners don’t know sh1t about shooting, weapon’s handling, etc.
Bro . . . this channel will be as large as you want it to be. You are simply personable and engaging (you have that "it" factor). If the algorithm ever picks one of these videos up you'll have to quit your day job 👍🏾✅✅✅
Yo I appreciate that my man
I agree
Yes
I'm with them.
Agreed
I can relate and agree to this video, when I started carrying I didn't really know the rules and almost got in trouble. PLEASE make sure you know the laws in your state and be careful. I also really like the point about shooting experience, a lot of people buy super nice guns and assume it makes them an expert without going to the range. Civilian gun fights only last a few seconds, training is essential if you plan to protect you and your loved ones.
My guy drive a Honda (LOVE HONDAS) and it’s a standard
Salute my guy!!!!!
Haha first comment to acknowledge that, so I salute YOU
Had a 93 Honda well over 225k in miles it was still rolling strong no issues
Love accords
Good video as well my guy
Dig the dash display on that Honda. I was wondering what it was as soon as I saw that.
Excellent video... Great info. As a lifelong gun owner, and former law enforcement, I tend to forget some of the "beginner" lessons. It is very refreshing to see these videos.
Man, I can relate to your journey. I too started out with a P365XL… Gentlman at a gun shop recommended me and I foolishly listened. I’m 6”5 200. Got some pretty big hands, such a bad choice for me. I moved on to the G45 and 17 and feel much more comfortable and confident with that full size.
Concealability is important, but I want to be capable. And a good holster will help with the conceal issue (Tier 1 concealed) is my go-to option
A good quality holster makes a world of a difference. So many people miss that one
Yeah carry the largest gun you can conceal. I made the mistake with the Glock 43x. Had to get rid of it..
Sig has a really good dealer incentive program which allows the sales guy to get free guns so Im not surprised they pushed it on you.
ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!! 6"4 195
@@MRsolidcolorI carry a G19 and a G48 Mos it’s the same size as a 19 but on a diet slimline
Wish I had all of this info when I started as well, but thanks for putting this together to save others the time. The last points you made about the legal considerations are arguably the most important to stay out of unnecessary trouble. Great content man, keep it up.
I couldn’t stress that enough. It gets overlooked all the time
This really is the best video and advice for new shooters and even seasoned alike. ESPECIALLY THE TRIGGER! He’s right and it’s important to realize how much of a mistake it is getting caught up up on Gucci for edc. If it’s not a comp firearm leave it stock and learn the Fundamentals. Lastly Massad Ayoob has written many books on when it’s lawfully time to use your firearm. He has the best advice so far that I’ve come across due to the fact he used to be a prosecutor and Attorney and he’s written many books about self-defense shooting first-hand accounts. This is probably the best advice I’ve come across for anyone that’s new to shooting. I think you did a great job. Wish we had more professional gun advocates like this instead of people showing off triggers and compensators great video and thank you.
Mas was never an attorney… but his books are worth reading!
Bro. I couldn’t agree more. Ppl put way too much emphasis on choosing a gun that’s easy to conceal instead of choosing a gun that gives you the best shot at protecting you and your family.
Both things matter. Shouldnt be a choice between one or the other
@@RT-qz5ci I agree however I feel most ppl today are tipping the scale heavily in favor or ease of concealment over something they shoot most accurate.
Dude your video is badass. It’s refreshing check back on the fundamentals and hold myself accountable to all these basic things we need to know while carrying. At least for me, it’s easy to get caught up in the flashy new cool things. I ❤ Guns.
When carrying appendix style wear an undershirt. In the southwest, with our 105+ temps, a tank top undershirt, a Glock 19, and a tshirt over that is - for me - comfy.
Agreed, I'm a welder in Florida and I do the same. No a/c so you sweat no matter what you wear, I find the undershirt more comfortable
On the northern border in winter, still wear an undershirt.
Also, winter is a great time for a vest holster. Covers up nicely with a flannel, hoody, or jacket and easier to reach with bulk or wearing insulated bibs
These are some good points. It’s interesting how we all have different versions of carrying in said areas. Maybe I’ll make a video of y’all’s tips as well.
@@ConcreteCowboyx this is my first year using a vest/shoulder holster. It’s been working out great! I figured it would be tough to access but it’s not bad at all! Even got my boss to pick up a new “winter” holster. Now maybe I can convince him a predator call is a business expense?
Yeah. I have to wear an undershirt. Otherwise I’m sweating all over my gun
Great tips. I basically ditched my 43X for EDC because the 19 shoots so much nicer. Consider me your newest subscriber!
I did the same thing. Love my G19
I'm currently looking at 43x now. I think i will go to 19
43x is way nicer than a 19
@@jasondick4756capacity sucks, I got rid of mine cause my hands were to damn big for it
As someone who grew up shooting and around guns, I thought your first point was just common knowledge. As I kept listening though I realized that many people may actually be getting a gun and never shot one before. Good job breaking everything down!
I played football with you, you hit me pree good a few times lol. Hope all's been well! Much love G and keep the grind on, good luck with UA-cam!! Been running a VP9 appendix with T1C axis slim and a nexbelt, it's been a solid edc.
Wranglers are definitely the way to go! I love carrying with mine on
Totally agree!
I was wondering what kind of wranglers those were all my pants fit tight
Thank you! As someone looking to get into firearms and EDC, i have been watching a lot of videos like this and they are very useful!
I appreciate your temperment. Some people are TOO excited for an armed engagement.
Good video. A couple things. Another nod to Kore essentials. Great belt. If you don't want to alter your wardrobe, you can usually find a variety of holsters that can accommodate different clothing. Important for seasonal changes to that point. And, if you are just learning, and have the option, I would recommend learning on a double action gun. Great for dry-fire, and once you get good with a D/A, all other trigger types seem easy.
The best belt for appendix in my opinion is the Hunter Constantine. The elastic in the back and stiffness in the front is a game changer.
I’ve worked at a gun shop for years, I also started a full custom holster company and eventually got to making top tier holsters. I’ve learned that the gun community is hard headed and most customers really don’t know much at all and will even defend bad pistol options because of price or buy terrible expensive small pistols regardless of what you say. In a lot of ways the same goes for competitive shooters. A good belt, and a good holster with a glock19/17 size pistol and you’re set.
You hit my top two tips and I wanted to emphasize one thing. Get training. You can go to the range, you can punch holes in paper. But a trainer can help you to think and work through things to get you to the next step. Whether it's shaving time off of a follow up shot, clearing malfunctions, effectively making target transitions or something else. Fine tuning your skills may effectively save your life or the life of someone else in a crisis. It will also give you more confidence.
This! However - I recently learned that training can work against you if you ever have to defend yourself in court. I know! Crazy thought ! Nothing to do with overall firearm handling but the fact that you were trained to be accurate. Trained to kill. God forbid you were on target dead center mass and stopped the threat. Read about a recent court case on this.
@PennsylvaniaDualSport lawyers will work every angle that they think they can leverage. To me it boils down to if it was a good shoot with the intent to stop the threat and I'm not in a body bag (preferably unscathed). The lawyer can argue that the perp has more rights than anyone else all day long. I know I can stand before my maker knowing I stopped harm to myself or others.
Thanks for excellent information. I’m concealing a Taurus GX4. Small I know but it fits my hands perfectly. Thanks again, I needed to see this video. Keep them coming!!
Dam this is some really good info and filming/editing. Seriously surprised you don’t have more subs, only a matter a time brotha.
Thanks for the belt tip. I been rocking Kore after lots of different belts. So I'll try the Tier 1 belt now.
I’m a huge fan!
Tier is OK but I'll stick with my Kore belt.
If you ever get the urge to try another, definitely check out the Agonic Every Day Belt. It's just a step above all the others with the hidden placard it uses.
@@BetterMarksman Bet. Thank you
@@ConcreteCowboyx I've been concealed carrying both professionally and personally since 1991 stateside and overseas. The belt has always been the biggest pain in the ass for me. Tried one popular belt that was so freakin stiff that after 8 hours my kidneys felt like they went 12 rounds with Roy Jones Jr. I searched for the perfect CCW belt and came across the kore and nexbelt and though I found it. Easily adjustable not to stiff and not to thick. Then I got the Hunter Constatine and the Agonic EDB. LOVE these they are a lot better because the flex with you when you bend over, squat, sit down etc. I love the concept of the EDB but like the ease of the Hunter belt. Another good belt is the tenicore zero belt. Also from my experience people stress to much about printing. Most people in society have their nose stuck in their phones and wouldn't see a car crash 5 feet in front of them. Plus people are adverse to looking in the crotch area of a guy. JMO Dig the channel
Love how you brought up training with a stock pistol before customizing, it made a huge impact in my shooting experience when I was still learning how to shoot. It transitions to other firearms and after you customize to your liking, you gain a boost of confidence in your experience!!
Big facts. I started with an HK USP compact. Spent years trying to find a gun that concealed easily/perfectly. What it took me probably 5 years to realize was that 1. The holster and belt are of HUGE importance. And 2. Having a longer barrel (more gun below the belt) actually helps the gun ride closer to the body when carried IWB. Now I carry a Glock 17 with light and optic with minimal issue.
I was gonna recommend the hunter constantine belt until you brought it up! It’s the best belt. I went the same path you did with kore essentials first for about 2 years then switched to hunter Constantine belt in may 2023, and wholly shit it’s a world of difference. Just for fun I actually wore it with gym shorts the other day when I hit shoulders. I was carrying a little 43x, just to see if it’s doable, and it definitely was. However I’ll go back to my full-size m&p off body in my gym bag. But the whole point is, it’s absolutely viable with gym shorts or sweat pants etc. love the videos, man!
Dude it’s such a hood belt. I carry off body in my bag when I lift as well, but I keep that bag close to me at all times.
Great stuff. I love that you mentioned the law and the fight after the fight. Very wise.
Love your channel dude. Just moved from Los Angeles to Utah. Now that I have every gun at my disposal, just because it’s popular doesn’t mean it’s for me. Skinny jeans 👖 don’t work either for conceal carry haha
I won't carry appendix. I don't crap on people who do but just watching you put on your holster has me shaking my head. I place a high value on comfort. I look at it this way: The odds of me needing to use my gun, in the life I lead, is next to zero. But having my gun on me is 100%. So I need it to be comfortable. I pocket carry most of the time. After a lot of experimentation, it's what works best for me. Sometimes I need to carry iwb, 4 o'clock. First time checking out the channel, liked and subbed.
I’m 5’8 165lbs and I conceal carry a H&K VP9 with a light attachment and red dot. I can easily conceal this weapon in the summer Arizona heat. The right belt does make a a huge difference.
Just got sent a link to your channel. Brother I love how down to earth and realistic you are about your journey. Even the experts can be caught off guard with an $8k gun. If you master the fundamentals any weapon will be much deadlier in your hands. This is real life and your approach is very realistic. Keep up the good work!
That hunter Constantine belt and m&p combo with the acss green reticle and the apex trigger 🔥🔥🔥
There is one thing I was thinking about while dry shooting though, and this is more just an open question to the community.
I was really focusing on how to grip the gun, and I kept wondering why there wasn't a claw fixture coming off the end of the trigger guard. It would improve grip about as much as a gas pedal, if not more on the right gun.
Edit: this came from comparing grip with and without the weapon light. Without it, you get a firm purchase on the front of the trigger guard that can really help to keep the grip tight on your hand without being too rigid, but importantly in line with your wrist. With a weapon light though you can't get the same purchase.
However that small claw fixture jutting out underneath could provide it with the weapon light, and even provide additional grip points without one
Great video.
Consider locking your slide to the rear and dropping a round in the chamber and let the slide go home easy on the round. Carry ammo isn’t cheap, so this is how I personally chamber before concealing for the day. It helps to extend the life of your round between rotation through the magazine. Hope this helps.
As someone with banana hands and who carries a G45 I approve this message. Remember, carrying a firearm isn’t comfortable it’s comforting!
Tier 1 EDC-S belt and Tier 1 Axis elite has been a game changer !!, the KORE belt for me hurt my back, the EDC-S has some give to it
Yeah I have a bad back so I needed the switch lol
As real as it gets. I went through virtually every point of your experience, and honestly, it was for the better. Naturally, I began to conduct my own research to offset any discomfort/disadvantages I was going through. The education I obtained through said research made me a better gun owner overall. Also, I am not done. I will never know everything, there is always something to learn, hence why I am watching this video.
Really great video!!! I appreciate you sharing honestly, the things you learned! GREAT job!
When I started my journey, I carried a gun that I could afford, then moved to guns that served a need. Eventually I graduated to carrying a Glock 23 as my primary for 13.5 years. I have since gone through several different platforms, but all have been full sized. I did not like my draw stroke with smaller guns, especially under pressure. Over the past few years my primary CCW has been a HK VP9 (from time to time I will rotate in a M&P 2.0 or Glock 45). Great topic and all solid points…
What’s up bro! I was curious about clothing changes actually as. A consideration for carrying now that I’m in a state that won’t persecute me for defending myself lol.
Cool to see these tips from your own experience as I ready myself to carry daily. 💪🏽
My first carry was a full size. That was 50yrs ago. I carried it for many years. Then I bought several smaller sizes trying to fit me because I'm only 5'6" l though I would overcome it but that didn't work. So I went back to carrying my large frame Kimber custom 45acp. I love the feel. I can drill tergets out to over 100+feet. And I know l will be a hole lot safer if the time comes when I have to do business. I've put over 75,000 rounds through it and never had not one problem with it. My biggest problem is trying to find a holster that I like. I've bought over 50 holsters of different brands and to this day I'm still hunting for a better holster.THANKS FOR THE MUCH NEEDED INFORMATION....
If you find one, let me know. Lol.
So glad your video came up on my feed. This video has good info for us newbs. I didn’t know about ammo setback; I will definitely start rotating my ammo. Thank you…I am your newest Sub. 👊🏽 Carry on!
Good video! I’ve never seen any of your videos before but the production value is solid and you seem like cool guy. Easy Sub for me.
how many times do you need to check if your guns chambered lol? if someone sees you racking your slide in your car before you go into a store your going to have the cops on you so fast.
Great points, totally agree on all. I would add, a great way to find a good pistol that fits you and you shoot well is to find a range that rents them. Here in CA, Elite Armory indoor ranges rents for $15, can't beat it. Saved me at least $600 in not buying the wrong gun. Good luck, stay safe.
Brother, just an extra option for a small gun.
Kimber R7 Mako.
I didn’t want to shoot it but the guy at the counter let me rent for free, and shoots just like a Glock 19. Super comfortable, and has a little more beef to it, shoots like a dream for a small gun!
Go rent one and try it out brother!
I’m not a huge guy but I’m not small either. Was looking for a summer carry as i don’t like full sizes in the summer. Gun store recommended the p365. I refused because i didn’t like the small frame. I just needed something that didn’t weigh 2 anf a half lbs unloaded and smaller for summer. Fast forward to the xmacro. I felt that and fell in love with it. I run it in a xiphos elite from t1c with neomag attachements and a neomag mag holder that clips into your pocket as i prefer that over the side car.
Same! I just picked up the 365 Axg legion and it’s a well oiled machine!
Not sure if it's exactly a tip or anything, but just wanted to let you know you gave me an extra reason to keep my hellcat pro.
I got a canik elite SC for my first gun, and I have zero regrets. Though now I would prefer to change out the sights, and I may look for a way to get the finger grooves along the front of the grip if I can, as I do prefer those features over the elite SC stock.
But I was considering selling the hellcat because I didn't have many reasons to justify up keeping both guns. I was considering which I would sell if I had to, and while I'd never sell my canik, my hellcat didn't have many reasons to keep, other than a back-up sidearm, or else just a gun to bring to the range if I'm going with someone who wants to try shooting.
It's also harder for me to really get behind the bullet. The grip itself is a little bit better than the canik in some ways, mostly just the added bit of length and the grooves compared to the canik with its standard twelve round mag which I prefer to carry with, though the extended mag covers length.
However the hellcats trigger guard and overall smaller frame and reduced weight makes it difficult to keep on top of my shots. I was however getting tighter groups than with my canik, despite several months between shooting my first time out with the canik.
A lot of that could have something to do with researching different techniques, and just watching others and adopting some mindsets, but I think it's more to do with the fact that I am uncomfortable with it, and so I was forced to pay more attention to my grip and sight alignment. It also showed me where my physical state is affecting my ability to place a shot.
I'm a home body, I used to be very active though. There was a time I could lock a horse through a wall. However now I've noticed due to work life and such I don't have the same strength in my core upper body and calves to keep a solid stance.
The canik was able to hide this due to the added weight on the slide and light, so I only really had to focus on just keeping it lifted and on point.
So now I may scratch the idea of selling the hellcat altogether if a scenario comes up where I would have to. Because while I don't prefer the gun, it will make me a better shooter.
New sub, I really appreciate the way you talk about how certain things may work for someone and not someone else. Keep it up man
My biggest thing is never ever cheap out on holsters you can find budget red dots around 100-200 that work and lights and what not but never cheap out on the holster or the mags always buy oem
Id recommend always carring with the light. Get a light that doesn't extend past the barrel to maximize comfort. Lights > optics. Inside can be dark, days can get long and not go as planned. I'd rather have it and not need it than the opposite. Also streamlines the start of your day and training is more consistent (also I carry a second mag as well. Extra ammo sure but more for clearing malfunctions)
Most of the tips shown here I already knew from watching multiple other videos when I started carrying. Out of the tons and tons of videos I watched I never heard of ammo rotation. I myself chamber the same round into my gun all the time but now learning about setback I'm definitely going to change that. You really never stop learning in the 2A community. Great video man looks like you are a smaller channel but these videos are high quality. Good luck to you in your 2A and UA-cam journey!
I once notices this my self when I started carrying two years ago. There is a way to prevent it. Load it straight into the chamber, ride the slide slowly forward, at this point your slide is going to be out of battery, next just press on the back side of the extractor, this will make the extractor expand outward and the slide will just click to its place. This is the way I do it, never had any issues
@@draconus787 that’s better than slamming the slide forward risking damage to the extractor but it seems a bit more work and tediousness than just using a different round from your mag but if it works alright for you power to ya
@@Kwameee01 Sounds complicated when you read it, but it's really not. Takes me about 5 seconds to do this
@@draconus787 yeah i understand what you are saying i just rather do it a different way
@@draconus787 I can't believe I've never heard anyone suggest this before. Have you tested this method when actually shooting to see if it would induce a failure to extract? I tried researching this method but all I can find is people that chamber loading by letting the slide slam shut.
The most important and sufficient fact you mentioned is " time behind the gun". This is the most consistent practice all firearm concealed holders must motivate themselves with.
Groove Life belts are great too btw. Magnetic + hook lock, stretchy, and you don’t have to worry about a ratchet system as it’s a push through around the buckle, rigid and perfect for CC. I carry a Glock 45 and it’s great, much more comfortable than a rigid or flimsy belt.
100% agree with stock configuration. The only thing I changed about my Glock 17 was the slide. Bought a Zev duty slide so I could mount my rmr. Other than that, everything is completely stock
My guns in order of purchase: M&P 2.0 Full 4.25”, M&P 2.0 Compact 4”, SIG P320 XCarry Legion, Shadow Systems XR920 Combat, Glock 43X MOS for an occasional light carry or secondary piece. Next up? Staccato P w/ DPP & Surefire.
Holsters: Tier1 & Safariland. Belt: Kore Essentials. Optics: Holosun & SIG. Lights: OLight (I know) & now more Streamlight.
I’ve been carrying for almost 3 years and just found out about bullet setback a week or so ago. Excellent point to bring up for new shooters.
Excellent tips sir! I discovered all of the things you mentioned, and wish I had this video back in 2016 when I started my concealed carry.
All good info. To ANY fairly new concealed carry people out there do not beat yourself up for not knowing all of these tips. They come with experience and if you are lucky with guidance. Most people who pretend to know it all don’t have a clue or at least don’t know how to give proper instruction. With that being said o appreciate your truth. 👍🏾
Stumbled upon this video in my recommended and it didn't disappoint, great stuff man
Did you know that the one press check before you put the holster on is enough for the whole day? Yep! You don't have to do a second press check after getting out of the car to make sure that around it and somehow fall out of the chamber while you were driving.
That was really cool about what you said with the feed ramp affecting your casing and round. Someone told me a while back to go ahead and shoot that round when I’m at the range and rotate it out. But I never realized that the feed ramp would actually push in the round.
Vibrating your head so quickly that it becomes a blur is a great tip, thank you
I think every new gun owner should watch this video. Over the years I’ve run into 90% of what this guy described. Save yourself a few years and watch this!
Thanks CC (subd)
The most critical dimension is the distance between the face of the trigger and the back of the grip. If a gun fits you well, when you grab the gun to fire, it will automatically line up with your natural point of aim. That's why adjustable back straps or different sized grips can make all the difference. Too often, well-intentioned salespeople recommend a brand instead of looking at fit.
"Training and feeling confident in shooting well" that’s my mindset as well brother
Dang, I was gonna say " stretchy jeans". I used to hate em. I accidentally ordered a pair and just didn't wear them at all. Now that I've started carrying. I got a decent leather belt and the stretchy jeans are perfect for concealed carry. They aren't like sweat pants but have just a little elasticity in them. I'm 5'7", about 140 with a 29 inch waist. Yes, I am a guy 😂. I like my jeans to fit snugly and used to never wear a belt. Right now, I'm carrying all the time at home or out running around, other than places it's prohibited, just to get accustomed to it. Thanks for the vid. What I already knew it confirmed and I learned some stuff.
I went through so many wardrobe changes and belt changes until I found the way I carry now and realized I get to get rid of all that crap laying around because I can now wear whatever I want. I use a strong elastic belt using an own holster that I use 1/16" adhesive foam on. Carry in anything from jeans to swimming trunks
i bought 1k rounds of blazer brass and in the first box i picked up, there were 2 billets that were not the same height. Super glad i looked into this as i hadnt heard ANYTHING about this situation in ANY of the videos I had been watching. I have been using the same round again and again
I haven't even watched the full video but just off the fact that you make this content and cover your face in all your vids, got a sub from me.
Faceless but REAL content. Respect ✊✊
Love My M&P 2.0 Compact.
Amazing gun!
I had the 5in. But the grip at the front was to narrow
Put blisters on my pinky
Love the channel , keep it up man!!!
Thanks!
Sweat was a big one for me I learned only after finding some rust on my spare mag. As someone coming up in this phase still and fairly new to carrying, these are great tips. Without someone to point you in the right direction it can be easy to overlook some of the little things.
You should always have a weapon mounted light on your gun. Even in bright daylight, if you have to draw your weapon, that light can make you disappear behind a wall of light and the bad guy loses his vision temporarily. Yes, he can shoot towards the light, but his ability to see has been diminished. Without the light, it's easier for him to see and shoot at his intended victim.
When you wear an appendix rig like that, can you pick up anything off the ground in front of you? Can you lean forward like normal? Those always look so uncomfortable to me🤔
This was a refreshing video to watch! The 'superhero' comment showed some honesty and humility; not found often enough on UA-cam! I became a subscriber because of it, besides the other great content. I am in my first year of CC so I'm identifying with much of this. I wish you well!
The belt I started using is the agonic edb. It’s also elastic but it has a tegris panel that you can move where you need it. It stays behind the belt and lets you keep the buckle up front like normal when appendix carrying. It also keeps your clips behind the belt so if your shirt hikes up your clips aren’t saying hi to everyone.
Thank you for sharing your experience I’m still learning too thank you I can put some of your teachings to my every day carry lifestyle
I pocket carried an LCP for a long time, and admittedly sometimes still do in the summer when I’m feeling lazy. That said, I have since discovered that the Glock 26 with a 12 or 15 round mag and a compact WML conceals fine, and shoots almost as well as a 19 or similar larger size gun.
The most important thing I’ve learned from years of concealed carry is that you should carry the gun that you can shoot the best and still conceal decently. A high quality holster and belt setup is almost if not more essential than the gun itself and will definitely aid you in carrying a full-size or compact gun, even with a light and optic. You may think you’re printing more at first with a bigger gun, but I can assure you everyone is stuck in their phones these days, and 99.9% won’t notice unless they are carrying themselves.
Welcome back bro !!! Thank you for starting your channel. You gave me the motivation I needed to start my own Gun channel. I appreciate you
You present the information well!
Congrats on the new channel. Have fun with it and stay true to yourself 💪
I started with a full sized, recently got myself a compact and I enjoy it more. To each their own
I like these tips, reminds me of my own experiences when I started carrying. I would highly recommend checking out the Groove Life belt. I've been using it for about a year and have zero complaints so far.
Thanks for this video, it was very informative and great to know. Keep up the great work!! PS: Don't be afraid to show your face, be proud of who you are. Thanks again!
Thanks for the tips!
I took a class and asked the instructor about reloading the same round and he said no it isn't an issue. Good to hear your info
The sigh of relief when I got my carry setup and it was still comfortable in American Eagle skinny jeans man.
Haha love that for you
Same dude, they’re my favorite jeans so I’m glad I can carry comfortably in them
The pay to play comment is so true. All those high dollar upgrades usually only amount to fractions of a second to extremely experienced shooters when you need to be putting money towards ammo to build a solid foundation.
Started with G26, then P365. Glock 19 was always the right choice, although I’m getting a Kahr PM9 for when I absolutely NEED to pocket carry. G19 + ACRO + X300 Turbo all day!
Great video man. I’ve been carrying for over 20 years, and still learning. Ditched my 43X to a P365 XMacro. Now experimenting with new defensive ammo rounds. I’ve always carried exactly what I carried on duty as a LEO, but +P+ ammo in a shorter barrel isn’t really needed. The research continues! Keep doing your thing, homie!
Definitely get what you mean , but I think in general it’s always good to try different sizes not to just carry but if ever that’s your only option .✅🙌🏼 nice video
I carry the same gun and didn’t customize it until 2000 rounds, but I was tempted a lot. Good info
KORE ESSENTIALS BELT IS 100% THE BEST BELT EVER MADE IMHO
CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD STUFF ABOUT THEM.
Just stumbled on you. Chill demeanor and effective and engaging delivery of content. Keep up the good work brodie
Very interesting thought for conceal carry. I have a similar mind set toward EDC. keep up the excellent content, Trent 3G Tactics.
Thanks, will do!
What is the green holster you have for the M & P 2.0 it looks perfect for what I’m looking for
Can we get a video about your dry fire routine? Maybe some techniques and drills you used to become a good shooter?
Great videos man! Keep it up!
Responsibly armed Protector and Guardian. You rock brother. 2A!
I greatly appreciate you brother. I’m in the process of getting my CCW. My concealed gun of choice is the Glock 27 with a 9mm conversion barrel. I will be investing in a tier 1 holster and belt.
Knowing gun laws at retail locations is one I constantly see that people fail on watching people in Walmart, target and small business you need to remember to remove, and proper storage in vehicles is a lesson for anyone that decides to carry in public.
