Very nice grabs, indeed! Thanks for sharing. I've never been to a Pen Show;but,London is high on my short-list. As if. Every time I see(even partially) a Pilot 743 in Verdigris color I lust for one in nib. My 823 in is looking for a new home. Too fine for my hand.
I'd eventually like to get a Silverburl pen. Does he use anything other than Magna Carta nibs? The Aurora pen is so nice. I'm glad it was still there for you.
You bought more than me this time, but then my one pen purchase was rather budget-busting! (Pilot Custom Urushi). I bought three inks, all Diamine (Oxford Blue, Onyx Black and Prussian Blue), one of which kindly leaked on the flight coming back (my fault). And a special Japanese-type sleeve for the main purchase.
Ooo, I do just after a Custom Urushi! I picked one up and fondled it at the Write Here table. I'd already made one purchase, though, so it wasn't coming home with me. Not that it was in the first place, probably! 😂😂
Some of them offer pre booked appointments for the morning, then generally walk ins in the afternoon. Others just walk ins all day. Perhaps a bit quieter in the afternoons, but I've rarely seen massive queues.
Love that hammered finish on that clip on the Silverburl pen. They are all great additions to your pen collection.
Thank you! I agree about the clip, lovely touch

I'll be honest, it's a bit fine for me too. It is, however, beautiful writer and I am adjusting to the fineness 😂

Thank you! Yes, he usually uses #6 jowo and has recently done a few with #8 Magna Carta nibs. Check out his website, some lovely specimens on there

Dan! You need to invest in a few skinny pens for my review amusement.
😂😂 Ah, sorry about that! I'll see what I can do....
Was good to meat you and hopefully next time I will be a punter once more and not depriving you of food through over spending ;)
😂😂 to be fair, I don't remember you twisting my arm off!
How easy is it to get pens tuned at the London Pen Show? Are there long queues? Best time to go?
