I can't really offer and feedback as to why these videos don't do as well as others, when they are generally my favorite style. I guess I just like watching people play disc golf and be enthusiastic about the sport. I care more about witnessing people reach their goals than making up random things to do. Keep on spinnin' it Bunk.
Something you could try would be to have an intro where you show snippets of some of the best flights you got during the round and highlights (and maybe funny lowlights) kinda like how Broderic does before his videos start. I always appreciate it, gets me excited to see how the round unfolds. Just spitballing. I watch for your growth as a player and your personality and insights on learning the game, not for how exciting or wacky your vids are.
Recent subscriber here, I enjoy watching your progress, thanks for the content! I'm at a similar stage, in my mid-50's, been playing since 2022, trying to get my rating up to 900. This is the first video I've watched in your 900 series. Some minor suggestions, take 'em or leave 'em ... - explain how you know what score rates 900 (was it from looking at tournament results on that course?) - give a little more hole breakdown, including notes on lefty lines (I'm not a lefty, just curious how it changes things) - say a bit more about your scoring strategy for each hole, and course management tips generally - mention disc flight numbers (or at least speed) before throwing - I'm unfamiliar with the discs you throw, so the names don't mean much to me - another player would add interest, they could also be chasing 900 or maybe they have a different goal; this would slow things down so probably tighten up the editing if you do this, and keep aiming for 15 minutes or so per 9 holes Speaking of course management, seems like you should probably lay up more often. Hole 8 you got lucky that the miss didn't roll away (like player B did), and on the back 9 you took a couple unnecessary bogeys on run attempts or missed approach shots. I think about playing the odds - are my chances of hitting the putt higher than my chances of 3-putting? If so then run it, if not then lay up. Keep spinning!

Thanks, dude! Haha, Bunk, that's what my dad always called me growing up. 👍🏼
