At next feeding time for sure. This is just a system booster and not a cure all. You need to determine the cause of illness. Generally we see parasite loads high or rumen issues. This will help get the rumen back on track, but does not remove parasites. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
I have a goat who seems to be dying, and as of yesterday doesn't want to eat or drink much either. I'm going to try this, but even if it doesn't help, I feel better reading through the comments. Thank you kind sir. You have surely helped this new goat owner. I bought 2 boer bucks. One was not well and I had done a good job of trying to keep him just alive. I researched and found you I am forever greatful. I also added Iron and garlic minerals. He is beautiful. I was going to castrate him but he is a dapple and my other is a typical Boer. I would like to see babies from both.
I actually just used this remedy here in Australia a few days ago, My 16 yr old goat was weak, couldnt stand or walk, refused to eat after suffering "doughy bloat" from over eating. She drank this remedy like crazy. I used "Stout" instead of the beer. (I bought a 6 pack) The next night I syringed her with the remainder and bang the next day, she was up and started eating like a horse. I went to get her more food banana pieces, blueberries, strawberries, cucumber etc and I couldnt find her as she was up and walking around. Im still drining the left over Stout !!! I have another remedy that I learned from and old vet 16yrs ago which was "Blackberry Tea" made with mashed up blackberry leaves in boiling water. Let it sit to cool. Goats love it, it soothes the digestive system and keeps them hydrated till they feel better and the rumen gets moving again. I also cannot speak highly enough of probiotic powder. Sometimes orally syringed mixed with water.
Hello, I know this is a old post, but I have a 6 month old goat down that appeared to have or has Polio, I started the B1 Complex right away every 4 to 6 hours and it seemed to helping. Yesterday, I notice he was dehydrated, so we threw him on a drip line. He doesn't have the energy to stand, roll, or lift his head yet. but will still eat if I hold his head up and feed him, and stretches his neck and legs out when I enter the room. I have been rotating him as much as possible, messing with his legs, having him move them back, on the plus side he can still see, so that good. I just came across this video from someone else online, and figure i will give it a shot. Getting a vet out here has been rediculous over a week out and will not give me an RX for anything without a wellness visit. All I wanted from the start was the B1 Fortified 500mg. Seriously, this was so easy to have on hand growing up. Anyways, How often would you recommend this home remedy? Thanks in advance.
We usually try for twice a day or as often as the goat will take it. We certainly hope it helps aid in recovery. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
My down goat did well. Gave him about half the mixture. How long does it take to see them up and moving? He was definitely breathing better and not shivering by the time we were done adminstering it. I will give the other half later today.

Parasites 🦠 are the biggest issue. Do a famacha check and go from there. Glad to hear the good report. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
Good info. I did this and she seems to be hanging on however I do have a couple of questions. 1) how much do you give? 2) how often do you give it? 3) will it keep in the refrigerator and how long?? Thx
I generally give as much as they will accept without forcing it. I generally give it twice a day. Yes we refrigerate and reuse as needed. Generally 5-7 days then we throw it out. Glad it seems to help. Remember it is not a cure to an underlying problem. It is just a booster to help get them back in the right direction. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
Yes sir I have a nanny that had pneumonia it really brought her down given vitamin b shot warmed her good giving her your recipe it's helped a lot but still low weight any suggestions please love your videos.
Vitamin B is what we would do as well. Watch here stool and check Famacha. If she is anemic we generally will give red cell (iron) as well. Hope she comes around 👍🏼🤠
Just had to do this. Funny thing is I'm in the middle of moving too 🤣 had NOTHING HERE. he had hoof and mouth and dropped weight drastically. Hopefully he will bounce back. 🤞🏻
I think it has something to do with the hops or yeast for the rumen. Truthfully, someone shared it with me and I just use it as needed. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
Wish I could try this fully and say it worked but my goat died of stress when I was washing him down, lesson learned 😓 (Just for anyone curious he was in bad shape and already downed for 2 days, I was giving him water/electrolytes and he was eating grass minimally, I fed him 2 raw eggs and some vegetables in the meantime. I washed his bottom part down to clean him since he had diarrhea and was dirty, then I washed his top half Including his face because he was dirty and the stress from that killed him. By this point he was already weak.)
@donnadelaney6731 We usually just let them take what they can. I they won’t drink and you have to drench then we usually try and get 1-2 full syringes down.
My goat randomly started laying down on one side & has his neck tucked almost under him. It’s like he has no energy to stand or move. I got him to drink a lit water but eat out my hand but he won’t stand or do anything.
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Always start with temperature and Famacha scoring. If you can get a fecal egg count even better. Sometimes you need a good veterinarian. Hard to try and diagnose when not in person. Sounds a bit like goat polio which has to be treated quickly. Can’t say for sure. Hopefully this gets to you in time.
I live in Jacksonville and I recently got two baby goats and one of them passed away from pneumonia but the other one was doing great and we just got another baby so our little doe wasn’t lonely and we’ve had him for a few days and he’s starting to show signs of pneumonia also any recommendations on what to do
Sorry for the late reply. Pneumonia is a tough one. There are some treatments but if you don’t already then set up a heat lamp for them to come to whenever they want. And be sure the babies are old enough to separate from Momma. Make sure your seller isn’t pulling them to young. If you are raising bottle babies then be sure to not overfeed as the babies don’t know when to stop which can caused pneumonia type issues. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
How much do you give at a time? Im dealing wit a very weak 18week old goat refusing to eat or drink. LITTERALLY been giving her molasses syringes and water syringes and cud transger from her brother..she will not eat on her own ..any other suggestions.
You will have to give her this by drenching with a syringe like you have done. I would start with just one full syringe if she’ll take it. You need to give her a good probiotic to get her rumen back jumpstarted along with this should help. I hope this is helpful, and thank you for commenting
Hi I hope u gonna respond me , our goat gave birth for the first time but it was hard for her and it needed a vet help and he injected her calcium but still she is so sik and the thing she had to throw after birth she didn't throw it still there , she can't even stand up the doctor said she might die , please tell me had ever had a situation like this and the goat was saved ??
We had a goat that had trouble and did no pass all the afterbirth. Unfortunately we lost her. However we had another and we gave LA200 (an antibiotic)and Penicillin and she recovered. Both can be given daily based on recommended doses. Unfortunately nothing is foolproof but it is what we would do. We would also make sure she is hydrated with an electrolyte mixture or some nutridrench to give her a boost. Hopefully this helps and she pulls through. 👍🏼🐐🤠
@@McFallFarms thank you so much for your response. I hope she will be safe I let you know tomorrow 💛 And sorry for the mistakes I made english is not my mother language
Looking for ways how to treat or what medicine to give for our sick goat. Tonight's the second that she's not able to stand. And just few hours ago her neck started to stiff. It hasnt been long since she had miscarriage. Pls help. She was crying all day until now and makes us feel awful hearing her with nothing to help her.
After a miscarriage there is a good chance she has an infection. If you haven’t already you should likely get a vet involved. She may need antibiotics to overcome. Sometimes there isn’t a fix at all.
I have a question. We had 2 wethered goats about 6 years old and one recently died. What is your recommendation for adding a new one? Everything I see or read mentions "herd" we only have one and he seems to be really lonely.
My goat was fine untill today. He smelled the food but wouldn't eat. Only wanted water. He's not moving around much or laying down. He's just standing there. not making any noise either. Could this help him?
This recipe can help give a boost to the system and rumen. It is not a cure all. There is generally another underlying condition. Commonly parasites. You need a fecal egg count and/or do a Famacha eyescore check. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
I have a 4 month old goat. Her twin brother died a couple days ago. Now she is not wanting to walk, lays down with weak legs. She was eating yesterday but not today.she won’t even get out of the sun. She pants and we have to move her put of the sun. She drinks and nibbles but is not interested in grazing or walking at all.
Hi... Need an emergency help from you. I'm having one Nigerian dwarf Male Goat. Today morning all of sudden he is walking backwards and yelling. I took him to vet and give 4 injection into his neck but still he is yelling and sitting and standing at same place looks very dull. Please give a life saving solution to help my goat.
Did the vet do a fecal? What were the injections and why dis they give them? Do you have deer in the area or pastures as well? Sounds a bit like meningial worm symptoms. I am not an expert but I base off of my experience and consulting other farms. Hope tuis is helpful. Also many vet chatroom for goats on Facebook. Usually quick to respond.
@@McFallFarms no he didn't, and i don't know what the bet injected. I have to visit again tomorrow. And fyi just moment ago while urination he yells and walks backwards but normal while poo.
Sounds like he possibly has urinary calculi (stones). Vet should be aware of the symptoms for this. We add some ammonium chloride from a salt shaker particularly during winter when we feen more grain. Hope he recovered. 👍🏼🤠
Sorry for the delay. There could be lots of reasons. I am not a vet but always start with a temperature 🤒 we have another video for that. To high or low a temperature and the rumen doesn’t work correctly and they won’t eat. I hope your goat recovered and is ok 👍🏼 🤠 Thank you for watching and commenting.
Do we refrigerate the unused liquid for later use? I think I’m going to try to give it 3-4 times a day. I have a 6 month Billy that had worms. I have used dewormer and have been giving iron & vit B injections daily for a few days. He was walking around a bit Sunday but by the afternoon he doesn’t have the strength to get up on his own. He is eating and drinking somewhat but is just too weak to get up or stand. I made some of this and have drenched around 10cc because he wouldn’t drink it on his own. Any additional recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
We typically will refrigerate and use it for up to one week. we sincerely hope this helps get your Billy over the hump. Thank you for watching in commenting. 👍🏼🤠
I would not recommend for a 4day old. Some Karo syrup for just a sugar boost. Best thing is nursing on momma and check temperature. We have another video outlining that. 👍🏼🤠
We try to offer it in a bowl and encourage them to drink first. If not we drench them using a drench style gun (link in the description). Many time when we start drenching they will get eager and drink or be more receptive to the drench. Drench slowly to be sure they are swallowing properly. They can have the whole thing if they seem eager to consume it. Remember goats will not eat unless their temp is at least 101.5. Always check temperature to determine what treatments to pursue. We have another video for that as well. Thanks for watching and I hope this is helpful 👍🏼🐐🤠
If they eagerly eat it, we let them have what they want. If not, I would say about 4 ounces or so at a time. This is not a cure, but it does help boost the rumen, as well as give them some energy.
I just lost my goat today. She was trying to tell me she was sick and I didn’t understand what was wrong. It was too late when I finally realized it. She’s gone and it’s my fault. I failed her.
Sorry for your loss. Don’t be hard on yourself. Livestock in general is a hard business. Some animals give easier signs of what ails them. Goats are hard to read quite often. Mourn your loss and move forward. 🙏🤠
It’s hard to lose these goats, get to really care about em… I just lost a little goat and still trying to figure out why… unfortunately, goats are kind of fragile and we’re going have some losses..it’s heartbreaking..but not our fault, 😢
The syrup just gives a sugar boost to give some quick energy. This remedy is not a cure all. It is like a last resort while you are trying to save the animal from whatever got it this bad off to begin with. Typically parasite 🦠 issues. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
Depends on what type of snake. I am not a vet but I would give LA200 antibiotics and probably some electrolytes. Check here temperature. If she is fevering then definitely LA200. We have another video on taking the temp if you have never done it. We hope this helps 👍🏼🐐🤠
We have a down goat that isn't eating and if the first dose doesn't help, then how often can you give it to the goat. It's a full size pygmy goat 1 1/2 years.
You can give this multiple times. We typically try to get the goat to eat it on its own before we drench. It basically is a booster to help the rumen and add energy. I hope It helps. 👍🏼🤠
The formula in the video can help. First step is a temperature 🤒. Famacha eye check and a fecal check for parasites 🦠 if possible. Also, for fast response there are some goat vet facebook groups that offer very sound fast advice. Wish you the best. 👍🏼🐐🤠
I appreciate it. Unfortunately I didn’t get to her in time. I lost her that same evening. Always hate loosing an animal. She went down pretty quick after kidding. Just couldn’t get her back around.
I'm syringing this mixture into my downed goat. It's time-consuming, but he's swallowing it willingly. I can hear his tummy rumbling. I hope this helps, but he may be too far gone at this point. 🤞
Some goats will eat it. Other we use a drench gun and feed it orally slowly. I don’t see why you couldn’t mix we pellet feed as well if they will take feed. 👍🏼🤠
I would start with taking a temperature. We have a video for it. If the temp is to low the will not eat. To high temp is sign of infection and antibiotics are needed. Hope this is helpful. Thank you and good luck 👍🏼🐐🤠
Yasmin Jaime sometimes I use pepto bismol from the store. There is also a tablet called Terramycin used for scours. We cut them in half and give like a bolus or crush it and mix it with some electrolytes and give as a drench. 👍🏼🐐🤠
my goat had some illness and I treated her with penicillin but now she doesn't know how to eat or drink. anyone have any ideas? I love my baby goat and I don't want to put her down.
Urgent: last year one of my goats went sick after giving a birth, she was okay first couple of days and then eventually stoped eating and after a couple of days she just fainted and died. 🥺 after a few days ago another goat gave birt and now showing similar symptoms: not eating and refusing everything even water.. Any tips or piece of advice??? 🥺🥺🥺
Goats parasite loads can often spike after birthing. It tale a lot out of them. Use the Famacha method to check for amenia. Or get a fecal egg count check. We have struggled with parasites after birthing.
I was taught to use dark port beer like Guinness as it's has more nutrition thanks to the extra malt. In my experience, it should be called dead goat soup because by the time they are down, they are already dying. (And I've been keeping goats almost 10 years now) like anything with goats, an ounce of prevention is more than a pound of cure and a dead goat.
Sorry for the delayed response. Sounds like stress or shock. Always start with a temperature to help diagnose. If you have access to a vet then consult them. I am not a vet however if it were me I would give B12 injection and drench with electrolytes. If she has no wounds and no obvious injuries then my guess is stress from the attack. I hope she recovers 👍🏼🐐🤠
As I stated in the video. This is only a boost to get them back on their feet. It helps to kick off their system and rumen. It is not the solution for an underlying issue. I am sorry for your loss.
@@McFallFarms great! Thanks.... I just hate foe people to see me buy it... even tho we don’t drink it. But....... to save my goat maybe I will. I wish I had known this last week. We list one of our best and we have no clue what happened. Bet said she was low in calcium 🤷♀️
It's the active yeast in the beer that is what you're after. There are other sources of yeast, but it is already active in the beer, it takes a while for dry yeast to activate fully once hydrated, so beer is the ideal source because it's "ready to go".
I cannot hurt and will help with an energy boost as well ad helps the rumen. It is a bit of a last resort recipe. If it were me I would certainly try it. 👍🏼🐐🤠. I sincerely hope it helps.
For a poison goat use liquid charcoal! Called DTox it is excellent to have on hand. This saved many of our goats & even a calve & cow that got into Mountain Laurel a beautiful bush & tree that grows rampant in the mountains of Georgia that farm animal absolutely love!
If by running you mean scours I would start with temperature and fecal test. It could be many things and I would need more information. I would recommend a goat vet forum on Facebook but you will need to offer more information there as well. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🐐🤠
Typically diarrhea can be a sign of parasites 🦠. Should get a fecal done to know what you are treating. I would start with straight hay and no grain. Maybe some electrolytes to help with dehydration. We treat parasites with Cydectin to deworm.
My goat got become weaker since i removed the stick that got stuck in his throat since then he never eats up until now and it's like his dying 😭 what should i do? I tried the sugar syrup because they told me it can be useful but nothing happened to him.
My goat just died and all the remedies didn’t work. Did the baking soda. Did the gas x. Did the apple cider vinager. Did the goat drench. Did the vitamin b shot. Tried keeping her moving nothing. She didnt have any kids. She had a real hard time breathing we have no clue what was wrong. We have two goats. The other is just fine. No one comes into our property and we’re nowhere near anyone els. They eat the same stuff and the diet hasn’t changed. So if you have any clues I’m all ears. Just appears got sick and died for no damn reason.
Sometimes animals are funny and we never know why. Could have just been something in the field it ate. Also some are more parasite resistant than others. Really hard to say. Sorry for your loss. Thank you for watching and commenting 🤠
Safe for babies but typically used on adults as a last resort. Temperature is important and knowing symptoms of babies. Again a last resort and nit a cure all. Sorry to hear you are having issues.
Don’t waste your time or money chances are if the goats down it’s not going to want to eat or drink anything especially not drink the soupy stuff you need to get it to a vet as soon as possible if it’s down
Never said it is a cure. A vet is always a great course of action but not always possible. I have said time and time again this is not a cure for an underlying problem. Just a boost to gain you some time and kickstart a goat. Think of it a a goat energy drink and booster for the rumen. 👍🏼🤠
We hope you enjoyed this video. Please consider Subscribing and turn on notifications for other great content to come 👍🏼🐐🤠

If it has affected the entire herd, have you consulted a vet? I would start with a fecal test. If you are feeding hay I would check for mold issues.

I’m wondering if I could substitute the molasses for honey?
I am sure you could. I think it is more a high sugar booster than anything. Just to add quick jumpstart energy.
Can this be given to a goat that is on Thiamine injects, B1 complex and nutria-dredge?
It sounds like you are doing n a good regiment already. I don’t think it would hurt but probably similar to nutri-drench 👍🏼🤠

You stumped me. I don’t know 🤷♂️
@@McFallFarms Oh ok~
Thanks so much!
Hope it was helpful 👍🏼🤠. Thank you for watching and commenting
I hope she will be safe I let you know tomorrow 💛
And sorry for the mistakes I made english is not my mother language
Praying for a good report.
Can this be made ahead of time and froze for future use?
I don’t see why not. We have refrigerated it for a week or so.
Can any yogurt work if i dont get dannon yogurt
Absolutely 👍🏼
Interesting video. Sorry to hear that you lost your girl, that's always hard. I'm a new subscriber, will be watching your other videos.
Sometimes it happens. I agree always hard. Thanks for subscribing and watching. Welcome. 👍🏼🐐🤠
Goats are herd animals and need yo have a minimum of 2 for sure. Sorry about losing one but he definitely needs a friend 👍🏼🤠
@@McFallFarms thank you so much! We got him 2 new friends :) we didn't even keep them separated
My goat was fine untill today. He smelled the food but wouldn't eat. Only wanted water. He's not moving around much or laying down. He's just standing there. not making any noise either. Could this help him?
It could help him. Always take the temperature prior to using this to get an idea of what you are dealing with. 👍🏼🐐🤠
My goat is doing the same what did you do to help it?
This recipe can help give a boost to the system and rumen. It is not a cure all. There is generally another underlying condition. Commonly parasites. You need a fecal egg count and/or do a Famacha eyescore check. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
What’s an egg count?
I have a 4 month old goat. Her twin brother died a couple days ago. Now she is not wanting to walk, lays down with weak legs. She was eating yesterday but not today.she won’t even get out of the sun. She pants and we have to move her put of the sun. She drinks and nibbles but is not interested in grazing or walking at all.
My old milk goat has been down a few days with really weak legs and tremors in it's muscles. It wants to stand but can not anymore.
Sorry to hear that. We lost a buck not long ago that was around 12yrs old. Just couldn’t get him back around.
Is this for backed up or sick goats? I have a goat that we just weened her from her baby. She is now struggling to get up and eat. What should I do?
How old when she was weaned? Have you checked her temperature? If she is to cold she won’t eat.
My baby goat is not eating or drinking anything on her own could you help me please and thanks
Sorry for the delay. There could be lots of reasons. I am not a vet but always start with a temperature 🤒 we have another video for that. To high or low a temperature and the rumen doesn’t work correctly and they won’t eat. I hope your goat recovered and is ok 👍🏼 🤠
Thank you for watching and commenting.
My first pygmy goat died I’m devastated 😭
I’m going to try this to save the other one
Sorry for your loss. Unfortunately it happens sometimes to us all.
Is this good for 4 days old goats
I would not recommend for a 4day old. Some Karo syrup for just a sugar boost. Best thing is nursing on momma and check temperature. We have another video outlining that. 👍🏼🤠
So you give all that at 1 time? Or do you split it up between the 4 times a day? Sorry to hear you lost her.
@@McFallFarms yes it was thank you. And thank you for you're quick response!
How much do you give the goat at one time?
If they eagerly eat it, we let them have what they want. If not, I would say about 4 ounces or so at a time. This is not a cure, but it does help boost the rumen, as well as give them some energy.
Watching from Pakistan
Thank you so much for coming and sharing. Have a fantastic day.👍🏼🤠
Yesterday My 2 goat kids Death Did Cool Weather Reason ?
Do you give all in the same day?
As much as they will accept at one time. Usually they don’t take it all. 👍🏼🤠
I move from london to Morocco and would like to invite you to come live here. I have a goat farm. Perfect spot for goats
I appreciate the invite and hope you and the goat herd is doing well. I think I am gonna have to stay put in the USA 🇺🇸👍🏼🐐🤠
Do you have local goat breed there in marocco ?
I tried this for my goat, but in the end heart failure took him. Nothing could save him from that 😞
Sorry to hear and sorry for your loss
Does sugar syrup works to a dying goat and can't eat, stand and drink on its own because of hunger?...
The syrup just gives a sugar boost to give some quick energy. This remedy is not a cure all. It is like a last resort while you are trying to save the animal from whatever got it this bad off to begin with. Typically parasite 🦠 issues.
Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🤠
Hello i have a goat that has got bitten by a snake and doesnt want to get up any recommendations?
Depends on what type of snake. I am not a vet but I would give LA200 antibiotics and probably some electrolytes. Check here temperature. If she is fevering then definitely LA200.
We have another video on taking the temp if you have never done it. We hope this helps 👍🏼🐐🤠
McFall Farms Thank you so much!
Can I do this without beer?
You can. The yeast in the beer help kickstart the rumen. That is the purpose of the beer.
When you say down, what do you mean by Down?
Referring to how much they can eat at one time
We have a down goat that isn't eating and if the first dose doesn't help, then how often can you give it to the goat. It's a full size pygmy goat 1 1/2 years.
You can give this multiple times. We typically try to get the goat to eat it on its own before we drench. It basically is a booster to help the rumen and add energy. I hope
It helps. 👍🏼🤠
I've got a down and sick baby goat can you help
The formula in the video can help. First step is a temperature 🤒. Famacha eye check and a fecal check for parasites 🦠 if possible. Also, for fast response there are some goat vet facebook groups that offer very sound fast advice. Wish you the best. 👍🏼🐐🤠
Hope she comes around for you a lot of things can be going on if you need other things to try get let me know.
I appreciate it. Unfortunately I didn’t get to her in time. I lost her that same evening. Always hate loosing an animal. She went down pretty quick after kidding. Just couldn’t get her back around.
That sucks
I'm syringing this mixture into my downed goat. It's time-consuming, but he's swallowing it willingly. I can hear his tummy rumbling. I hope this helps, but he may be too far gone at this point. 🤞
Did it work?
@@qballusajasondavis7923 No. Sadly he died.
😢
Gooday! How do you administer that type of solution? Will the goats simply drink it,or you should mix it with pellet feeds?
Some goats will eat it. Other we use a drench gun and feed it orally slowly. I don’t see why you couldn’t mix we pellet feed as well if they will take feed. 👍🏼🤠
My sheep not eat any food so how i save that
I would start with taking a temperature. We have a video for it. If the temp is to low the will not eat. To high temp is sign of infection and antibiotics are needed. Hope this is helpful.
Thank you and good luck 👍🏼🐐🤠
Do you know any home remedies or any on the counter medicine for diarrhea in goats?
Yasmin Jaime sometimes I use pepto bismol from the store. There is also a tablet called Terramycin used for scours. We cut them in half and give like a bolus or crush it and mix it with some electrolytes and give as a drench. 👍🏼🐐🤠
my goat had some illness and I treated her with penicillin but now she doesn't know how to eat or drink. anyone have any ideas? I love my baby goat and I don't want to put her down.
Need to monitor temperature. If her temp is low she won’t eat or drink. Generally a sign of some type of infection. May be time to get a vet involved.
CAn you feed this to a 4 months old goat ?
If they will take it yes. It will not harm them. 👍🏼🤠
I would certainly card him first
Urgent: last year one of my goats went sick after giving a birth, she was okay first couple of days and then eventually stoped eating and after a couple of days she just fainted and died.
What receipt for an adult goat which don't have appetite to eat bro ?
Start by checking temperature and go from there
Did that help?
help!! our goat was attacked by dogs she has no wounds but is not feeling well, drooling, laying all, doesn't eat and weak🥺 Please help!
@@McFallFarms Thank you sir❤️ she died unfortunately 🥺
Sorry for you loss.
@@McFallFarms Thank you🙂
You said that you had one that was down well I have one dying in my my hands right now I thought you were to actually save a goat
As I stated in the video. This is only a boost to get them back on their feet. It helps to kick off their system and rumen. It is not the solution for an underlying issue. I am sorry for your loss.
Is there a substitute for beer??
This is the formula I was taught. I had to buy beer just for this. 😂. I don’t drink the stuff. Not sure what a substitute would be.
Great Question 👍🏼🤠
@@McFallFarms great! Thanks.... I just hate foe people to see me buy it... even tho we don’t drink it. But....... to save my goat maybe I will. I wish I had known this last week. We list one of our best and we have no clue what happened. Bet said she was low in calcium 🤷♀️
It's the active yeast in the beer that is what you're after. There are other sources of yeast, but it is already active in the beer, it takes a while for dry yeast to activate fully once hydrated, so beer is the ideal source because it's "ready to go".
Do you think this will help in a poison goat after she was good for 2 days. Vet already said there’s nothing else to do. I’m desperate 😔
I cannot hurt and will help with an energy boost as well ad helps the rumen. It is a bit of a last resort recipe. If it were me I would certainly try it. 👍🏼🐐🤠.
I sincerely hope it helps.
McFall Farms thank you!
For a poison goat use liquid charcoal! Called DTox it is excellent to have on hand. This saved many of our goats & even a calve & cow that got into Mountain Laurel a beautiful bush & tree that grows rampant in the mountains of Georgia that farm animal absolutely love!
Great advice to add to the goat care kit 👍🏼🐐🤠
Your remedy was a life saver. My goat is doing good 🥰 Thanks again!
I see this was before Bud Lite went woke. 😁
Most definitely 👍🏼 😂
Adding Bud Light may turn your goat Gay, but that's a harmless side effect that usually wears off once they mature. lol.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wat i give my 🐐 his belly is running
If by running you mean scours I would start with temperature and fecal test. It could be many things and I would need more information. I would recommend a goat vet forum on Facebook but you will need to offer more information there as well. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼🐐🤠
@@McFallFarms my ram goat has diarrhea 2 days now.I dont know how to treat it or to stop it. Can baking soda stop it
@@McFallFarms and how to use it
Typically diarrhea can be a sign of parasites 🦠. Should get a fecal done to know what you are treating. I would start with straight hay and no grain. Maybe some electrolytes to help with dehydration. We treat parasites with Cydectin to deworm.
I am only sharing what I would do. I am not a vet and still learn more all the time. 👍🏼🐐🤠
My goat got become weaker since i removed the stick that got stuck in his throat since then he never eats up until now and it's like his dying 😭 what should i do? I tried the sugar syrup because they told me it can be useful but nothing happened to him.
If possible I would get a vet involved. If not I would go with electrolytes and nutridrench. He needs roughage to keep his rumen active.
I am still awaiting your reply in regards to my invitation to grow goats in sunny Morocco
I left a reply. I appreciate the offer but I think I will have to stay in the USA 🇺🇸
👍🏼🐐🤠
Can we give to baby goat s plz tell me fast today is the last day of my baby goat Pls tell fast😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😢
Safe for babies but typically used on adults as a last resort. Temperature is important and knowing symptoms of babies. Again a last resort and nit a cure all. Sorry to hear you are having issues.
Our goat is down right now
Sorry to hear. I hope the outcome was positive.
Thank you
@@McFallFarms sadly it didnt work out
Please, you using products subtitle in this video
I REALIZE THIS WAS 3 YEARS AGO BUT BUD LIGHT THE WOKE BEER!? 🤯🤪😬🥴😠👎
Never again. Lol 😂
