I’m in my late fifties and learning how to sew my own clothes.
I was desperately searching for a tutorial for lengthening the back of a circle skirt….none to be found, until I found your tutorial!
My youngest daughter & I were discussing this exact same thing, not ten minutes before I found your video - how skirts are higher in the back than the front (of ‘healthy’ backsides) & how everyone measures down the side of their body, never discussing about the shorter length of the back vs the longer front.
Literally doesn’t look right, & it’s very noticeable on more heavier people who have larger backsides.
