Killswitch Engage's cover of Dio's "Holy Diver" for example. I like Killswitch, but that cover was trash. It lacked the epic magnificence that Dio was able to deliver. Same thing with Disturbed's cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence". I love Disturbed, but they missed the mark when they covered that song. But I am arguing over opinions so it is a mute point anyways. :)
