Have any of you hit up Tata Celo’s in Valenzuela? Which of these dishes would you go for first, or did I miss a must-try? Drop a comment-I wanna hear what you’d dig into. @jserenity, i finally made it.
Yes you did and I loved it! I hope I can recommend another restaurant but the standard is just set too high . Better find a equally good recommendation or better.
ohh perfect that someone is there to guide you viewers can know what's drinking food and what not.. and that binagoongan you eat it with rice to reduce the saltiness pefect!
I am so happy to see you eat those foods that I recommend. Partly cause I cant eat them here abroad. lol Am so glad you loved them and finally, a food that you find hot enough to admit. And I highly agree with you about the Tuna Belly, they are really freaking good. The crablets and shellfish are finally getting known Also happy that my local town is getting the exposure it deserved cause most food vloggers skipped us and goes from Manila to Pampanga.
@jserenity, so glad you caught this video. They had apparently texted me after my messages to them and I never saw it. Once I did I immediately messaged them again and they told me I could come out and film whenever I wanted. thank you so much for the reco on the location and dishes. Both are fabulous. Wish you could have been here to enjoy them with me. And yes, no joke the gising gising caught me by surprise with it's heat levels. It was by no means too spicy, but I was caught off guard on that first bite. it's definitely the spiciest thing I have eaten in the Philippines
Yuuuuum! The Pork Binagoongan with Eggplant is one of my favourites! Never had Fried Small Crabs😂. I am with Ehm on the Dinakdakan😅😅😅. Thank you for another awesome food trip!
The pork Binagoogan is delicious, Sadohr. it's just unfortunate I can't for the life of me pronounce it no matter how hard I try.😂 I of course knew when I was filming it that the dinakdakan would be a no go for you. Thank you for always being so supportive, Sadohr. Tell the family I said hello and I hope you're all not freezing your bums off in Alberta
@@PureDetour One day, you will be able to pronounce it. I just can't with the Dinakdakan. It is too scary for me. I always liked your channel since your Day 1 in Manila. I subscribed right away. Always looking forward to watching your new video every Saturday morning. Alas, I woke up with the snow covering everything this morning. By the afternoon, it was melted and only -2 degrees. Cannot complain about it 😂 Hubby said Hi back!
And only -2 😂. You have been in Canada for way too long Sadohr. Don't tell me you and the hubby have adopted wife beaters and shorts when the temps hit 6 degrees like the rest of the crazy Canadians😂
@@PureDetour Lol!!! No, we do not wear that wife beaters but I am still in sleeveless shirts and shorts in the house. Outside we have to wear fall coats as it is windy and we do not want to get sick. Flu season here 😏. 6 degrees is like a party when we get that kind of weather in my house.
@@PureDetourMy reply got deleted 😂 Anyway, we are still wearing summer clothes in the house. Outside, we wear fall coats as it gets windy. -2 is a nice weather here to think that we are in November now. But I just checked the weather and it was +4 this Sunday afternoon in my neck of the woods 😂 Woohoo❤
Nice. Everything looked really good... Haven't had crablets in ages. Can't remember if I liked it. Hehe, M probably right about the processed cheese. You need to pronounce "suso" correctly coz it could mean something else depending on how you pronounce it. 😁 (Baboy should also be pronounced "BA'-boy", not ba-BOY'.) Gising-gising is also originating in Bicol I believe. Gising means "wake up". :)
I love sisig too, Jessica. I have featured it in so many videos though, that I try and feature some more unique items than what you can find everywhere in the country😁
Those dishes Geoff are to die for, and most of them are my favorites. And yeah, you won't get demonetized by You tube for the beer because this are cultural foods. Cheers! 🙂😜🇵🇭
To die for indeed, Renato. If they demonitized the video I would be ok with that too. This place was totally worth it. 😂 But you 're correct, they won't demonetize over a beer
Great review! Wish I was passionate about Filipino food like you. Sorry just can't eat brains... scared of the brain dish people eat in Cebu City! Be careful you don't get gout. All the best. Mark from DC
I've been required by my doctor to watch my uric acid intake. And I can't tell you how punishing it was for me to watch you eat those crabs and snails. 😄😄
doctors are dumb they will just give you sedatives with a lot of side effects stop consuming rice noodle pasta and specialy sugar eat meat only cured me
I really wish it did. My Filipina girlfriend went over it a million times, and no matter how hard I tried I just can't get it out. I promise I will get it down at some point.

@@PureDetour i wish you did try on cam, would have been amusing to hear the effort haha
That's fair, Elf. I however am quite insecure when trying to speak a language that is foreign to me.
Crazy all that for $50😋
