  • Over the past months, even years, more and more people, particularly in South Africa, find the need to scrutinise and judge our heroes of today, even those of the past, on their flaws or mistakes...
Should communities not be helping and advancing people instead of breaking and humiliating people? If there are no more heroes, who will your children look up to one day?

Uncle Vusi Thembekwayo is like a father I never had, he always reach out whenever he is needed 😭 Been following him for 5 years and I have to say this.... There is a paradox that you cannot understand life and live life simultaneously. But for Uncle Vusi I think he proves the statement to be false because his moves tells us he has done some extra understanding than most of us❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very nostalgic for us who grew up in the 80s and 90s👌🏿As an ex C-suite corporate and banking executive now turned entrepreneur, I could write a whole book about this topic😭 but the right words fail me now, so I'll just leave it at Proverbs 29:18..."Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he". Some will get it, many won't. Thanks for the awesome thought and heart provoking video🙏🏿

Today I've grown to know that our heroes are people also and they do make mistakes however constructive criticism should be made where it required so that they grow from strength to strength, and create job for our beautiful nation.

FOR ALL THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE THE WORLD
My father often came to visit me on the family farm at weekends. Year 1959.
At 1000 m. above sea level, not so far from the equator, and without air conditioning, the practice after lunch was to have coffee or tea under a beautiful tree near the little house we had built a few years earlier.
As a young man, I enjoyed listening to stories from my father's life, and how he came to be in Africa.
During one such story, he stopped midway, and waiting for it to continue, I kept looking into the distance. The prolonged silence made me think he wasn't feeling well. Instead he was reflecting. I asked him what.
"Did you see the person who passed by a moment ago?" I said yes. “That person came here three years ago, barefoot and dressed in tatters, and begged in his language to give him any work, because he was so hungry! He has now become one of our best plowing tractor operators. And as you have seen, he now walks proudly, and he also has a young wife. "
While he was telling me that, another employee passed by, and my father said that he too was completely ignorant when he first arrived, and now he has become the teacher for new hires, and that he follows them until they understand their task.
    I asked him "SO?"
"I was thinking of all the arrogant dictators who think they can change the world!"
"To change the world, it is only necessary to give every human being the opportunity to develop his/her natural talents to the maximum, and following them in their development."

Be you. Don't let others tell you what to do.
I hate seeing haters hate for no reason. I hate crabs in a bucket. I hate identity politics.
When I was growing up and listening to rap and hip hop. I grew up noticing it getting worse. Lil Wayne doing Lollipop was the start of it for me. Suddenly we have all these mumble rappers with auto tune and rappers sharing the same flow.
When I see Black people trying so hard to tell you that rap has evolved into something better and that it's still the peak genre. That's when I realized we as a society have become so insecure that we will defend anything because of its stigma. In this case, rap being associated with Black culture (even though youll most certainly meet Black people who will trash Jazz despite Black people being the ones to invent Jazz) and therefore, tribalism.
I think just being a human is ok but most everyone, Asian, Black, or whoever will think otherwise. It's sad. But I am here to tell you that I honestly find it so refreshing when I read your comment

I tried helping entrepreneurs but honestly Africans in general are toxic towards each other. I was scolded that I don’t run a real business yet I own a retail shop with two employees, own my entire manufacturing equipment, have 12 employees (10 of which I trained myself). I hire the most disadvantaged people that society judges because I know the pain of being judged based on appearance. I’ve trained people for free who now employ others yet somehow we’re the enemies 🤦🏿‍♂️. Besides that there’s the social media bullying. I had to close my Twitter business accounts because I couldn’t avoid the toxicity. Honestly I gave up. I just stick to my circle and grow my business in silence, less stress for me more poverty for them.

Brother Vusi, you make more sense than politicians, you inspire more than politicians, your messages bring hope more than politicians, if South Africans don't wake up now, they'll be just like politicians.

The tone, the message, everything just right, true, it hurts, some have committed suicide due to black on black hate, there's this notion of prefering to be led by other races, or praise them while we crush own- It's in every industry and every corner of the globe. It's evident that we have so much to work on as black melinated people

A black child raised to criticize, to cancel and hate their own is a sad way of doing life. When will we rise up and realise that when we back one another we can grow into better beings and grow economically?
