He was a REALLY good sport on it. He didn't cry or run off the stage. He went along with it and didn't get too upset even tho he put so much time and energy into it. I respect this guy

Love how this guy maintained a poker face through the entire thing and still plucked up his courage to go to the Wild Card Round when the judges decided to tap him again. RIP to Tim Fort, a quirky and wonderfully memorable man who brought us his originality and fantastic sense of entertainment.

wow so much work, 36 hrs to set the thing up, all that effort should be worth something. it looked like it could have been pretty cool. amazing sport about it, just laugh and smile. thats a great talent alone, to be so calm when something that took soooo long to set up, went so wrong.
This just broke my heart. All that work designing the huge pattern then all that work setting up. I still voted for him because it doesn't show a lack of talent when the trick didn't work. It was just an accident. I couldn't have set all that up like he did.

Maybe a different temperature on the stage/air pressure/plus the material the floor is made of => all contributed to the fact that it probably worked back it at his home but didn't on the stage...
no, I'm guessing humidity like he said. It wasnt the assistants fault, if she pulled it wrong you would still be able to recover it. and it wasn't working in some places but worked in other places i presume to be dryer spots.
