your rolling weekly is the greatest thing i’ve ever seen, i’m NOT joking lol I’ve been losing my passion for bullet journaling because i can’t seem to find a system that works for me, but your system seems pretty perfect to me. i’m going to try it out, hope it works out and i can adapt it to my needs! thank you very much
I concur. I'm still relatively new at this (starting my 2nd year) despite my "old" age (I'm 54). I have implemented Claudia's style and method of the rolling weekly. It really works for me. I LUV that little pop of colour without being too plain (or too wild and colourful). Where I usually "fall short" is in planning enough empty pages (Oh well.... those extra tasks are then recorded in the Dailies).
Yess!!! Just what I needed! Thank you so much for this!! I get so overwhelmed by all the different kinds of spreads in bujos, and this is the perfect kind of video I needed with utmost simplicity. this is my kind of bujo - minimal Thanks, Claudia!😁😊💗
i’m also starting a new bujo in july and i think i have to try the rolling set up now! i love that you can dump a lot of tasks without the pressure of immediately assigning it to a day. thank you!!❤️
New subscriber here 👋 love that yours is minimal and not “artsy”. I don’t have time to waste making it “pretty” and I think I didn’t have the confidence to use one for productivity until I stumbled upon your videos! So thank you for posting! Keep it up!!
I love your simple but productive way of planning! I just got the same bullet journal, also in the color sage but the 120g paper version. I’m just so excited, this video came to the right time. Thank you for making videos!
Hi Claudia. I have been watching your bujo setup tips as I'm prepping myself to try my hand at it. Thanks for all this great content! It's totally encouraging and exciting to start a new bujo. Your ideas and layouts are inspiring. I especially like the rolling weekly layout. I will definitely give it a try. 😊
Just found your videos. I sometimes struggle with using my Bujo and your minimalist system just makes sense. I’ve never seen the rolling weekly that you do and that might help in my life. And you’re right……a Bujo is intended to help us……not stress us out because it isn’t pretty enough. Great job! Keep it up.
Finally i can understand rolling weekly better from your video. I really love how simple it is and kinda remind me again the purpose of bullet journaling, so thank you!
i love the rolling weekly spread! i used to do the traditional way and write all 7 days and leave space. it was tedious because i do better with daily view but i also need a list to do my weekly tasks and sort of estimate when i can have them done. i’m going to use this idea + i’m also looking forward to your notion video. i love notion so much.
At first I didn't understand the rolling weekly and how it worked, but now I do and I think I might add that spread to my journal. Thank you so much for explaining it more in depth.
I love how his midliner so much. I also do a marker a month got this one in March and have ended up going to two a month cause I love this yellow so much and can’t stop using it haha. Definitely want to try out the rolling week
Thanks Claudia. I’m new to the concept of BuJo-ing and am loving it so far. However I don’t do weekly logs. Just wondering how do you deal with items you have tackled but need to follow up at a later date. I can’t put them in the future log as is due in the same month.
Well, you could maybe do a master to-do list or set a reminder section in your monthly log that you can refer to. Or do a rolling weekly instead of a weekly log! :)
I've wanted to try the rolling weekly but I also journal a lot in my dailies and for some reason my brain wasn't working with how I could possibly keep two without loosing space for either one and I love how you did yours, and I'll probably try it out next week. Thank you 😊💖
Im going to start planning my bullet journal for 2022 and this is maybe my 4th try. Ive had other bullet journals but i wanted to have artsy pages and a lot of info and took me a while to understand i dont need that much. Your video helped me ☺️💜
Okay this is wonderful. I'm finally diving into the bullet journal world and this will be my set up. Thank you for sharing what works for you, I think this will be what works for me!!
After hearing you said you combine bujo and notion, AND your week starts on Mondays, I subscribed lol. I’ve been trying to incorporate notion into my planning. I also use a minimal design bc I am not a artsy person and want to focus on the content/being productive. I also use one color per month and track habit on the monthly spread! (so I don’t have to write the dates again…) I am going to try the rolling weekly spread, I’ve not seen anything like it before. I love your voice, and I loved that you mentioned the ghosting ❤️ It’s a popular brand but I couldn’t stand the ghosting…
Hi Jen! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing!! Seems like we have a few things in common hehe 🤗💖 And yeah I definitely had to mention the ghosting. Leuchtturm1917 is for sure a popular brand, but it's a real shame their pages ghost soooo much !
Your video inspired me to get a new bullet journal and set it up like this. Got back from the store, watched this video again and realized I got the exact same one, color and all 😂
the rolling weekly is literally a life saver for me. I'm also switching to a discbound journal so I can move things around (I get so much anxiety about not having enough space or having things not in the right place) but I will definitely be implementing the rolling weekly when it arrives!
I love your spreads! Very minimalistic, I'm planning on trying your rolling weekly cause I have this weird thing where I say finish an illustration but takes me 3 or more days so writing it over and over is really annoying it just seems very useful, my daily logs are just bulleted tasks. I used want to add more designs but I just didn't like what it ended up looking so on my first ( this year ) it went form something with designs to something with nothing but tasks hahaha and I'm happy it's like that!
Hey thanks so much for sharing this! I'm thinking of starting bullet journaling but was kinda upset about starting it in the middle of the year. This inspired me even more lol
Claudia I’m binge watching your videos….your giving me hope on this bullet journaling I’ve attempted several times….I will try your way!!!! And I just downloaded the Notion app…coincidence? 😀 I think not. I too love to practice spirituality and try and get better at pulling a daily 1 for daily or 3 card spread for Sunday. Thank you. I’ll keep watching #virgo 🙌🏼♍️❤️
Such great video! Thank you! ☺️ So you brain dump into your rolling weekly, and then you specify the tasks in your daily log? Makes sense to me. But: where do you note your appointments?
Hi! This simplicity is what i really need right now, as i having no time to be artsy and my daily job as PPIC.. so yeah. I used to be an artsy bullet journal and i am very confident of what i've done with my 2 latest notebooks. BUT, i realize that makes me so forced to always be artsy while having a busy day 🙄 Now seeing your video, i feel like i'll just go trying basic bullet journal for the sake of productivity. 😆😆😆
I’ve been trying to find a system that lets me have a huge to do list, without all the tasks getting lost in a endless migration cycle, I’ll try the rolling weekly+daily log. Thanks for sharing !
i love rolling weeklies. I've been using it for some months now. i guess i got tired of having to layout a new weekly spread every week or of pre-setting them up at the start of the month. it's just so time consuming. the rolling weeklies is such a genius way of transitioning to a new week. i agree with still using dailies with weeklies, though. hiii, i just wanted to say thank you for helping me understand what a bujo is, and i've started it a month ago and am loving it mainly because of your help. i am applying a rolling weekly page to july and seeing if it would help me, but i can't seem to understand the circles and the dots and the lines and the crosses. can you please explain how you fill it out? :)
Hi Fares! Thanks for watching. Hmm, it's kinda hard to explain this by just writing. I would recommend watching youtube videos about the rolling weekly! I will create a video on my journaling routine and how I use the rolling weekly in the near future :)
On the symbols: You could watch the introduction vids of the BuJo system founder Ryder Carol (maybe spelled differently but you should find) here on YT. Explains them pretty well. 😊
I really want a leuchtturm 1917 notebook and I absolutely love this sage green colour. I'd prefer the grid paper to dots but I've heard bad things about the squares/ dots being really dark. Have you experienced this?
Lovely... I just subscribed to ur channel, btw... It works amazing for a student...Simple and Productive... (Except that my "rolling weekly" is taking 4 whole pages) Love from India 🇮🇳
Hello. I really liked your design and keeping the diary. But may I ask a question? Please tell me how do you use the weekly and daily reversals? Don't you have duplicate tasks of the day and tasks of the week? I mean, for example, you write cases for Wednesday in the "weekly" reversals, but in the "day" reversals it is the same. Is not it so?
Hi there! So, yes I do end up duplicating my tasks. What I do is I brain dump what I need to do for the week in the rolling weekly. And then I figure out what day each task will need to be done. And then I make my daily log and write out those tasks in more specificity if needed :)
Hi Thank you for the guidelines. I love what you do. The other journals are very busy. I have came across you page recently. I like your comments your journal your rules. Thanks
Can you do « my filming setup » vid and you show like how you get overhead shots, you setup your desk or maybe like a behind the scenes where you show that and also like other behind the scenes stuff?
they're essentially the same thing, the rolling weekly is kind of like a 7-day forecast of to-do's. i use both just so i can get a weekly overview and then i'll get into more detail in the daily log!
Claudia one request. Can you do a flip through of your planner from the beginning to see how it flows page to page month to month, to ensure I’m understanding the order of things?
Thanks for the request - I haven't done a flip through because my bullet journal has a lot of sensitive info since I journal for my eyes only, but maybe when I do a new setup, I'll show you what my system looks like?
Re ghosting/ 3.30 : Recently Leuchtturm came out with 206 - page notebooks in 120 gsm (instead of the usual 80 gsm)! Available cover colours are black, port red, sage green and stone blue. Ghosting is really reduced in my experience.
@@claudiaspaurel You´re welcome! Small correction: The colour of blue the 120 gsm notebooks come in is nordic blue, not stone blue (originally, I could only find photos of the colours without the colours specifically being named). My local seller said there is a high probability of the manufacturers occasionally switching up the colours and , so if you are ride or die for a certain colour and you like the 120 gsm, it might be worth buying a few spare notebooks in that colour.
Hi Claudia, I like what you are saying with creating a bujo. Keep it as simple as possible; as you are more likely to continue bujoing. The minute it feels like a task then it stops being helpful; as you say it is a tool. [The only person who will see this is you].
If you want to avoid the ghosting you might want to try out the Leuchtturm with 120g paper. It is a whole lot thicker, and I can’t see any ghosting. Mot even when writing with a fountain pen. It is simply called Leuchtturm 1917 120g.
i think it's best to get a notebook that has pages that won't ghost! depending on how much you've paid for your journal, it might not be worth the money to only use half the pages :)
Hey, just wanted to recommend something... you should try out the dotted notebook from the brand EMSHOI (on amazon). The reason is because for $12 USD you get a 120 gsm dotted notebook with 256 pages.... the price even less than a leuchtturm and it has better paper quality and more pages! So check it out if you want!
I have had such lofty aspirations for bullet journaling but those lofty aspirations are tied to some wacky ADHD perfectionism deeply rooted BS. I feel like bullet journaling is the only way I will stick to a planner of any kind ever. I also think I might be excellent at bullet journaling and it could be life changing because I tend to go ALL INTO new hobbies with Hyperfocus and throwing money at it because it feels good. It really has the potential to be the perfect storm of a disaster or it could be exactly the amount of schedule and routine that my life has required but never attained since I became a stay at home mom 14.5 years ago. Last month I realized that I have been low key bullet journaling for the past few months in this awesome Rocket book planner my partner bought me. It was strange because I had this very serious guilt fest about bullet journaling and how silly it was to be intimidated by something I had never tried and that might be my jam. There was so many things about bullet journaling that seemed to scream my name that it was almost like I was denying my own happiness out of an irrational fear about starting something that feels unknown and overwhelming. Deep rooted moop. But seeing that I had basically started bullet journaling but had not committed to a format or even labeling it. But I kept busting out my colorful pens and making neat little layouts that I needed to be "just right". Strange obsession that kept coming back. Once I added two plus two and realized it equaled four - I thought the barrier had already been broken so maybe starting a proper bullet journal would be the next natural step. But I just could not find a UA-cam video or tutorial or layout that felt organic. Everything was too much or too foreign or too strict or not fitting my schedule so it was hard to find that entry point. Until I found you! I think I understand how your brain works because my brain functions similarly so I have my L 1917 journal, I have my rulers and pens. Now I know how to start formatting to make it functional! Even if I don't stick with everything you do - I appreciate the jumping off point your videos have provided! It is so nice to gradually walk into the deep end of the pool which is what your videos are providing! Otherwise, setting up a bullet journal felt like I was cannonballing off the 10 foot high diving board! I have intense ADHD and have a hyperfocus period of a week after I refill my meds where I can really buckle down if I know what I want to accomplish ahead of time. if I leave it to be in the moment then I tend to get absorbed by time blindness and accomplish little to nothing of substance. I am as likely to fastidiously clean and organize a drawer over and over again as I am to reorganizing the entire kitchen or laundry room or cleaning/chore schedule. And bullet journaling in itself is already an endless Rabbit Hole. There is just so much information about bullet journaling that I can get distracted or bogged down in the details before I even put pen to paper! And a fresh journal is a beautiful thing and not something I would ever want to waste! Now, I chose the L 1917 at B&N without any knowledge of what was popular or trendy. I chose it because I liked the size, weight of the cover, color, type of paper and whatever other characteristics I could gleam from the few details visible from it's sealed exterior. I want to use this journal to improve my life and I feel like the power is there and I can grasp it but can I hold onto it or will it slip through my fingers? Only time will tell. But I am optimistic that the timing of this is right alongside starting to see a new therapist with a particular focus on mindfulness and anxiety-reduction. One of my goals of therapy is to be a good role model for my children who I have passed a lot of my mental illness onto and I want to show them how to properly seek care and maintain a healthy, stable relationship.
Thank you so much for sharing. That was beautifully said. I have dear people in my life who also have ADHD so I empathize where you're coming from. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I wish you all the best on your goals and your journey. 💖

New subscriber here😊, yes i love your journaling syatem, so i want to try it out and hope it works out for me🤞
thanks for subscribing!! i hope my system works for you too 🤗

Hi Thank you for the guidelines. I love what you do. The other journals are very busy. I have came across you page recently. I like your comments your journal your rules. Thanks
Thanks fo watching, Daria! 😊
Can you do « my filming setup » vid and you show like how you get overhead shots, you setup your desk or maybe like a behind the scenes where you show that and also like other behind the scenes stuff?
maybe i'll answer this in a q+a !!
Hi! I was wondering if you could go into more detail about your rolling weekly log method? a video would be awesome!
Hey Kianna! Sure, I'll include that in a journaling video in the near future - thanks for letting me know 💓
Hope you are doing well! Much love from Spain😊
Hi Melanie! I am well, hope you're well, too 💛
omg omg do you have the link to those beautiful letter stamps? i tried looking for them on aliexpress but can't find them!
unfortunately i don't, sorry! i also don't recommend using that site - kinda sketch after having used it 😬
whats the difference between the daily to-do list and the rolling weekly? i thought the rolling weekly was the to-do list
they're essentially the same thing, the rolling weekly is kind of like a 7-day forecast of to-do's. i use both just so i can get a weekly overview and then i'll get into more detail in the daily log!
Hi Claudia! Why do your lechterrum notebooks always have such bold dots?
Hey there! I personally don't think my notebooks have bold dots, perhaps it's the lighting in my videos that makes it look that way?
@@claudiaspaurel I see! Aight. Love your channel 😻
Re ghosting/ 3.30 : Recently Leuchtturm came out with 206 - page notebooks in 120 gsm (instead of the usual 80 gsm)! Available cover colours are black, port red, sage green and stone blue. Ghosting is really reduced in my experience.
Awesome, thanks for letting me know!
Hi Claudia,
I like what you are saying with creating a bujo.
I've tried the 120g paper and yes it is so much thicker!! 🤗
I love it 🥰
Thank you for reference 💕🙏
You're so welcome! thanks for watching 😊💖
Should I keep glueing pages together to stop ghosts
i think it's best to get a notebook that has pages that won't ghost! depending on how much you've paid for your journal, it might not be worth the money to only use half the pages :)
Lysm 😭😭✋💖
🥰❤️
Love it 😍
thank you so much! 💖
Hey! Can you please drop me the link to the lower case alphabetical stamps that you use?
WTF
W: Wednesday
T: Thursday
F: Friday
it's a weird shortcut to remember the letters when writing it down in my Bujo, I find it quite funny :D
can you please do a bullet journal set up for students and for beginners please
love your content
I have videos on bujo spreads for students! Check my playlists 💖
@@claudiaspaurel thankyou soo much
yayyyyyy

Hey, just wanted to recommend something... you should try out the dotted notebook from the brand EMSHOI (on amazon). The reason is because for $12 USD you get a 120 gsm dotted notebook with 256 pages.... the price even less than a leuchtturm and it has better paper quality and more pages! So check it out if you want!
Hey Meghana, I'll check that out!! Thanks for telling me 😊
I will be ordering one soon ,...
omg aw i remember writing that haha 😆 and thank you!! it's surreal 💝

Leuchtturm 5 Jahreszeiten i have
I have had such lofty aspirations for bullet journaling but those lofty aspirations are tied to some wacky ADHD perfectionism deeply rooted BS.
