I applaud your restraint on meeting Rosewater and not punching him in the face. I think that would take more self-control than I have, especially after going through what you went through before that.
It's times like this I am sad I live Down Under. But then I look at the elections going on up there and I think, nah I'm cool. I'll just have to miss out on Magicons!
Yes! I'd been vaguely wanting to put this cosplay together for a few years, and had picked up the hat and boots at Renaissance Festivals. One of my bandmates is a professional costumer, so I hired her to construct the shirt, trousers, and jacket based on the Tireless Tracker art, Max (Old Rustein in our group photo) is a 3d printing expert, and provided me with some symbols of Avacyn, which I painted up appropriately. Julie decided to get in on the action once I'd committed, and when we told the rest of the group who was meeting us there, they decided to follow suit as well! Though I've had general Renn Faire attire for all of my adult life, this was my first actual cosplay - and I intend to get many additional uses out of it ;)
That weekend was genuinely a blast, and being with y'all definitely cemented it as a core memory. SO MANY BOXCARS

Wow, it looks like you're wearing a trircorne in one of the videos. Were you channelling the Fashions of Innistrad??? ;)
