Question 1: Besides obvious rust issues from steel bodied cars, how else do you tell if a car should be sanded down to bare metal for a repaint ? Reason I'm asking, I've got a couple of old ass cars, Corolla SEG and Suzuki Vitara. These cars are so old that the clear coat has been baked on and has that white island looking patches all over. So I'm just wondering, what criterias do you evaluate when looking at a car from when someone brings it in for an estimate and then when you have all the time to do your followup checks, and which point do you pull the trigger to suggest a bare metal sand down job?

I have not had the opportunity to review this car, but from I know, you can acquire one for RM7-8k, but you will not spend anything less than RM20k - RM30k to get the car into shape. A unit without air suspension will be much cheaper to restore, but still be ready with a big stash of cash.
It about prices also..if the owner willing to pay high dollar then you can do proper step and use the quality products..but unfortunately not everyone understand all this procedure..and everyone wan pay cheap which is understandable..😂😂
