The key card evidence would be sufficient enough for me to convict the guy if I was on the jury. Only two people had access to his wife's card, him and his wife. It doesn't make sense that the wife would have done it. The poison in the house would make sense if she was trying to kill her husband but why would she poison her workplace to kill her husband who didn't even work there? That makes no sense. Now the husband, on the other hand, if he was trying to kill his wife, it makes perfect sense why there was poison at their home and her workplace. By plain logic and common sense, the key card proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the husband did it. Any other evidence was just bonus.
@@zammmerjammer the goal of the prosecution is to convict someone beyond a REASONABLE doubt. Prosecutors have been meeting that standard for hundreds of years before forensic science became a thing. Again, the goal is to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. The type of evidence is just the means by which that goal is achieved. Whatever type of evidence achieves that goal is what prosecutors should rely on. In this case, the circumstantial evidence was more than enough to prove guilt beyond a REASONABLE doubt.

Apparently many men consider killing their wives. Few husbands act on the impulse. The lack of any real long term benefit makes even the most aggrieved husband think twice about killing his wife. Most men realize the large cash windfall comes with tremendous risk of imprisonment. To me it seems the man that acts on this urge is more motivated by the thrill of the kill than the short term financial or social benefit.
DOESN'T the western counties even heard of a latch or deadbolt for the inside of doors. I hate it when i heard a burglar/killer use the key to get into the house...WTF! 19:39 AGAIN, these reenactments depict unnecessary use of force against someone who wasn't armed, aggressive, nor resisting, yet they CHOSE to show the "cop" IMMEDIATELY attacking the guy, pinning him facing the floor, then put his ENTIRE weight on him when he put his knee to the guy's neck! This is NOT proper treatment AND can be used as grounds to get any subsequent admissions/confessions, evidence, and even the arrest itself thrown out! Regardless of the reason for the arrest, cops NEED to be held to the highest standards when carrying out their job duties. The reason they demonstrate these procedures is to convince the viewers that whatever you see them do here is what cops are ALLOWED to do and you CAN'T do ANYTHING about it, which is EXTREMELY INCORRECT! This is another perfect example of indoctrination of how policing is the US has slowly been intruding and ignoring on to outright willfully violating people's rights and people just accept that that's how things are supposed to go, as they're completely oblivious - not only of their rights, but also that they're being taken away - to satisfy the government's - State and Federal - agenda. It's sad and pathetic, as are those who chose to stay dumb to what's really going on.
Lmao, imagine getting mad over an actor using a method that in a real situation you'd find over the top and then trying to connect that with police brutality.

That's just cirumstantial. Most prosecutors wouldn't bring a case to trial with only that sort of evidence.
The amount of adds in this is crazy.

...How close could you really be to them.
Objection : Irrelevance to the case!

great job detectives !
I think 28:00 contains a narration error. It states that strychnine would give a reading due to its ability to absorb UV. Yet immediately after the narrator says that the test solution gave a reading thus proving it was not strychnine. These sentences appear to be contradictory to each other
You're right
Why did the killer's work colleagues take the wife's belongings after being told.....my wife is dead....and NOT RING THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY.🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
What was he doing with all the insurance money ..?
Forensics are very interesting. Wish I would have pursued it as a career.
I’m just not understanding how this guy was able to just casually get his hands on cyanide 🤨

Arsenic? Why suspect arsenic when arsenic is tasteless? I thought that it was also a slow poison. Cyanide and strychnine are faster. Or, so I thought.

Ooooookay am I the only one wondering just "where" and "how" allllllllll that coke got into her system 🤔
chris deau he dissolved loads in water and injected using syringe without needle on it up her vagina causing overdose ! They only found traces of coke on her labia lips 🥴
You can as a woman go through the vagina or rectum. As a man just rectum. Not as good of a high but the blood vessels will still absorb the drug.

The real Bobbi Mowery Amos was beautiful and very sweet, although surrounded by lavish lifestyle Ed provided, she wasn't like him in any way, such a shame the way she went :( 😞
5:46 I'm thinking wadding, rolling, and mashing a sheet up against your coveralls probably isn't a great way for a crime scene tech to package up evidence,...
Wait for the recreations that forget to make the actors wear gloves

Ecellent
Apparently many men consider killing their wives. Few husbands act on the impulse. The lack of any real long term benefit makes even the most aggrieved husband think twice about killing his wife. Most men realize the large cash windfall comes with tremendous risk of imprisonment. To me it seems the man that acts on this urge is more motivated by the thrill of the kill than the short term financial or social benefit.
DOESN'T the western counties even heard of a latch or deadbolt for the inside of doors. I hate it when i heard a burglar/killer use the key to get into the house...WTF! A few dollars worth of deadbolt would have prevented it.
Where I'm from all house have latch usually 2 or three( bottom, top n middle) on all doors n 2 for windows. N also most houses have iron bar or steel grills on windows to prevent break in.
Must of been shitty coke if he went to sleep. lol

Too many Ads. So unsubscribed it and stopped watching it. Too nauseating.”The New Detectives “ should realize this is the best way to drive out viewers.
These investigators and the police really doing great job on making sure these complex cases are solved, whatever criminals do in order to try to cover their tracks but forensic science always there to expose them. In my country if you die or get murdered like this, they will bury you and forget. Very sad
I agree with Okolo 100%
They say people don’t go to sleep after coke but as a child of the 70’s and with very, very good coke available, I often fell asleep after great coke while everyone else stayed awake all night talking or playing games.
Which coke are you referring to?
I always know who did it because it’s always the boyfriend/husband.
But in the 2nd case it wasn't. The idiot killed the wrong person.
Why add a hundred ads to it? Greed.

The sound of this video isn't good, volume goes up and down throughout.
So he didn't mind admitting to using cocaine? If he had been black he would have been given a hundred years just for using cocaine nevermind murdering someone
Ppl, there are other ppl that do this and I am a survivor of poisoning.

*They kept building up the suspense with all the stories of suspicious deaths of his wives and mother then they rushed in the arrest only to cook up a story about a cocaine injection! How did the others die? There's more to this case than meets the eye, or they never found out his method!*
You've never heard of Hollywood ?????
You realize this is an entertainment show right? Not the actual full investigation and court trial?...
@@someguy4915 It would be extremely long for the whole investigation and trial....
@@mightymouse1005 Exactly, so this is aimed to entertain, not an exact accurate representation of legal proceedings, which would be long and boring to watch.
As a result, some details might be left out, some things might not be in chronological order and so on to keep the pacing in this show.
Jeez those were the days I guess! How many murders does it take, and how ridiculous their deaths? What a monster!
I know this is a re-enactment, but the tech bagging up the bed sheet held the sheet against his clothes, before he put it into the bag. Hello, this would contaminate the evidence!! Get the actors to pay attention!!
